It's only been one day and she's already been put in detention. Fabulous... Just fucking fabulous... Rin assumed she was supposed to report to Mr. Ichigo's room for detention, so that's what she did. But along the way, Rin accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry..." She apologized.
Rin's eyes trailed up to see a girl with pale colored skin. She had short, jet black hair that went a little past her chin and steel colored eyes. She had that blank expression on her face, almost the same as Rin. "It okay..." She said. "Are you the new girl?" She asked flatly.
Rin just nodded.
"I'm Mikasa."
"Rin."
"Do you know Eren Jaeger?"
"I do actually..."
"Have you seen him?"
"Probably down the hall and to the left; said he was waiting for you outside."
"Thanks." She said before walking off, pulling the red scarf around her neck up a bit over her mouth.
Mikasa, huh? I'll have to befriend her, and I think I'm on the right track. Now Levi on the other hand? Please... He's a lost cause... Shrugging that thought off, Rin headed for Mr. Ichigo's room. Sure enough, he was there, along with Levi and a few other kids. Looking around, she headed for an empty seat in the back, well, that is until she was stopped from sitting down.
"Rin..." Mr. Ichigo called.
She groaned softly. "Alphabetical order, I got it." He nodded his head once as Rin went to het seat next to Levi.
"Annoying runt." Levi scowled.
"Shorty with anger issues." She retorted.
He just scoffed as Rin took her phone out and went on Tumblr, liking things she obviously liked and reposting them if she wanted to. But as the redhead was on her phone, she would often hear Levi make stupid or rude comments about her, not that she really cared though. He made comments like her hair was unnatural, like before, she was annoying, she was short, her name was stupid, you know, things like that, which didn't seem to bother her at all. She would just give him a light scoff and a smirk at some comments. And seeing as she wasn't on that good of terms with Mr. Ichigo, shr tried not to test her luck with him. But when Levi said that she was an annoying runt with a stupid hair color, she just stared at her phone, flipping him off with the other hand, but did it in a casual way so Mr. Ichigo wouldn't notice.
Geez... Rin was so damn close to pulling out one of her chai tea cigarettes and smoking one just to keep herself calm. However, she couldn't fucking smoke in this damn school, so she just had to suck it up for now... But once the forty-five minutes of boredom passed, Mr. Ichigo said they were free to go. But before he left, he looked at both Rin and Levi.
"Rin, Levi, if you two can't get along, then I suggest you settle it or I will. Understand?"
"Yes." They both said before he walked out.
"Brat."
"Dick." Her and Levi said their insults at the same time before glaring at each other.
After Rin finished packing up her things, she sent Levi one last death glare before throwing her backpack over hrr shoulder and heading for her jet black, 1967 Chevy Impala. Sure, it was a pretty old car, but it looked like brand new from how clean she always kept it and how well she treated it considering it was the only car she owned and kinda couldn't buy a new one... Rin unlocked her car, putting her sunglasses on as she opened the car door, but before she got a chance to get in, she heard someone scoff, or more specifically, Levi.
"Is they really your car?" Rin looked over to see him smirking, his arms folded over his chest.
Closing the car door, she leaned against it, pushing her sunglasses over her head. "Yeah, what of it?"
"What year is that?"
"1967."
"Seriously?" He actually looked surprised. "And it still runs?"
"For your information, I've taken very good care of this car and I don't intend to get rid of it if it looks great and runs perfectly fine."
Levi just rolled his eyes as she just flipped him off before he walked over to a black Chevy Truck. Damn show off... Scoffing, the redhead got into her car and drove off, ignoring his stupid truck as she headed home. After pulling into the parking lot, Rin grabbed her backpack and got out of the car, locking it before searching for her apartment key on her car keys. She made her way up the steps to the third floor and headed for her apartment near the end. After unlocking the door, Rin went inside, locking the door back as she set her backpack down and slipped her shoes off. But as she was in the kitchen, getting something to eat, more so, an apple, her phone started vibrating in her pocket.
"Who the hell...?" Rin reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone.
Hanji... Rin forgot she took her phone and put her number into it, along with a picture. She had her arms around the redheaded teen, smiling brightly while she had a small smile, a fake one, to be exact. Sighing, she just answered the phone and pressed it to her ear. "Hello?"
"Rin! You answered!"
"What do you want, Hanji?" She asked, taking a bite of my apple before putting the phone on speaker so she could go pick up some things from the floor.
"Right, well there's this get to get her tonight--"
"You mean a party?"
"Yeah, a party, and I want you to come!"
"Uh, why?"
"So you can live for once, silly!"
I was alive once... Now I'm dead inside...
"Do I have to?"
"I can pick you up if you want since I know where it is."
Rin sighed. "You're not gonna quit until I agree, are you?"
"Nope!"
"Fine... I'll text you my address..."
"Great! I'll pick you up at seven!"
"Fine." She said before hanging up, continuing to eat her apple again.
