Chapter-19

"Yeh kaisi lag rahi hai?"Arjun asked Kudrat.

"Ache lagege ! Blue suits you"Kudrat said and smiled.

She can easily witness that spark and excitement in Arjun's eyes. That happiness of meeting his love. And this was enough for Kudrat to make smile.

They paid bill and came out.
"Main chlaan hun?(main chalun ab?)"Kudrat asked.

"Main chdd dinna aa ghare( main chod deta hu ghar chal)"Arjun said.

"Ni ni..Tuc ghare jaao..Jasmine nu v milna ae ek ghante baad. Jaake ready ho jaao( nahin. Aap ghar jaao. Jasmine  se bhi milna hai ek ghante mein. Get ready)"Kudrat smiled and convinced him to go.

"Message me after reaching home. Okay?"Arjun said and waved a bye to her.

Kudrat reached home lost in her thoughts.

"Kithe c putt ? Aa cheti lunch kar le!( kahan the beta? Aaja lunch kar le)"Kudrat's mother said to her.

"Bhukh ni haigi maa. Main friends naal c. Kha lea main. Tuc kha lavo( bhukh ni hai ma. Dosto ke saath the. Kha lia maine. Aap kha lo)"Kudrat replied and entered her room.

She was feeling sick. She was smiling from outside but from inside she was hurt. She was wearing that facade of being happy. But for whom?

She laid down on bed and closed her eyes. And as she closed her eyes, she witnessed Arjun and Jasmine hugging and snuggling close to each other.

She opened here eyes immediately and shooed her thoughts away.

"You are not supposed to feel this Kudrat. Get a grip on your emotions."She said to herself and immersed herself in her favourite thing. READING.

There Arjun was all ready to meet Jasmine. He was dressed in dark blue shirt and black jeans all set to blow every girl's mind.

"I am going Jasmine se milne. Aake I will call you"He sent a message to Kudrat.

""Kudrat replied.

"Ptani meri hansdi hoyi te bolan waali Kudrat kithe gayi( ptani meri hans ne waali Kudrat kahan gayi)"Arjun thought and then shooed his thoughts as this was not the time to think all this.

He picked his car's key and left his house.

Kudrat was glancing at her phone within every five minutes.

"Hjee tak ni aaya phone. Aaye ni hje tak ghre( abhi tak ni aaya phone. Aaye ni abhi tak ghar)"She mumbled to herself.

It was more than 4 hours since Arjun texted her. Kudrat felt her heart sinking. She felt like throwing up and ran to washroom.

She was hating all this. These these happenings with her. She never ever thought that love can do this to people. She was sad and emotionally drained.

She was stressed and irriated. Her head was aching and she fought with all the people because of the frustration which was very unlikely of her.

These feelings were having a very negative effect on her. Her peace was gone long back and she was remained only with these feelings of pain.

She was sitting idle and was staring at the wall when her phone buzzed.

Arjun calling.

She was staring the phone. Neither she was picking it nor she was disconnecting it. She was lost in the war between should she pick his call or not.

She didn't have that much strong heart to listen his date's details with Jasmine.

Phone buzzed for 5 more times and then went silent.

"Message me whenever you will see this message. I have lot of things to share"His text came.

Kudrat read that text and kept her phone away. It was getting worse with every passing second.

She hid her face in her palms and sobbed.

"THIS IS WHY I NEVER WANTED TO FALL IN LOVE. "She mumbled while crying.

After few minutes she composed herself and called Kudrat.

"Kudratttt"Arjun almost sang.

"Haanji"Kudrat said in a calm voice.

"Kithe c?? Main enni vaari phone karya tainu. ( kahan the! ? Maine itti baar phone kra tujhe)"He asked.

"Sutti payi c. Taan bs. Hje uthe. Tuc dasso kidan rahi date(so rahi the. Tabhi bs. Abhi jaagi. Aap btaao kaisi rahi date?)"Kudrat tried to sound excited.

And then Arjun told her how he went to her college and then how they had lunch together and then went to the near by park.

Kudrat was listening silently and was saying ACHA, WAAH in between. Imagining Arjun with Jasmine pained.

And there was no cure for her  pain. She has to deal with it.

Because love is not about getting the person you love. Love is about leaving the person you love for his happiness ❤

Days changed into months and things were changed. NOT FOR GOOD.

Arjun and Jasmine's relationship took a serious note and they were very much into each other. Still their meetings were not frequent as every other couple. They met for four or five times in their relationship of months. They still fought over issues like why don't Jasmine meet him at regular basis or why she don't have much time to talk with him over the phone.

But in the end they forget their fights and get back to normal. All because of Kudrat.

She was a bridge which was connecting Arjun and Jasmine. Kudrat was the one who always nagged Arjun to forgive Jasmine's mistake and as always Arjun always follow to what Kudrat tell him to.

"You are an angel in my life. You know that na?"Arjun texted her.

"Hehe. Nothing like that. I want you happy bs. Always. Chalo now sleep. Good night"Kudrat replied back.

"Good night"His text came.

Kudrat kept her phone away and tried to sleep as she was doing from past few months. Her health was falling and her face's glow was missing. She was no more a cheerful girl. She reserved herself to her books.

Arjun was too busy in his life to notice this change in Kudrat's life. He hardly met Kudrat for once or twice in all these months. They talked in messages regularly and that too about his life and SOMETIMES ABOUT HERS.

It was routine for Kudrat to listen sad music daily and then cried herself to sleep. Months passed but still she was not able to get over the things.

Her parents asked her about her falling health and she made an excuse of her studies stress.

Everytime Arjun meet Jasmine or talk about her, it hurt Kudrat and she feel like cursing Jasmine but ended up saying,"She is not at fault. She is a good girl. Why I am cursing her? She was  in his life before me and she love him. He love her too. Can I ask for more ? Arjun is happy then I am happy" to herself.

"ki galti kiti c main babaji. Ki gunaah kita c. Saari umar pyar ton bhajdi rahi. Te jadon hoya v taan ohde naal jo haiga kise hor da( kya galti ki the maine bhagwan ji. Saari umar pyar se bhagti rahi. Aur jab hua bhi toh uske saath jo kisi aur ka hai)"She mumbled looking at the ceiling.

She was asking this thing regularly and the only thing she got in answer was silence.
