The smile of an angel,

the voice of a dove.

She sang of once having

a secret love.

With gusto and feeling

her parts she did play.

I especially loved her

in On Moonlight Bay.

And who could forget

that fiery dame

as a whip cracking, wise cracking

Calamity Jane?

From April in Paris

to Pillow Talk with Rock,

this queen of wholesome

was not one to shock.

She sang great songs

like A Woman's Touch

and Que Sera Sera in

The Man Who Knew Too Much.

She brought out the sunshine,

swept the grey clouds away.

The bubbly blonde

who we call Doris Day.

Note: I'm hoping the attached clip worked so you can hear her singing Secret Love. Beautiful!
