Don't trust the moon

He will only place empty promises of passion in your begging hands as you sway, lonely and crying

Don't let him lie to you

False hope seems all too real as you throw your head back and scream at the top of your lungs shouting 'oh god take me now' as your talons rip him to shreds like you do to your skin every morning to face the day

Don't fall in love with the night sky

She is ever-changing because she is too terrified to think of being alone forever as the mid-day sun befriends birds and people and always laughs

She will make you hers

And you will live only for the night an your days will waste to dust and your dreams will turn to rust and you will find yourself where you started. on your knees praying for some warmth from the ball of fire in the sky or the poetry in the wind or the laughter of the rain

But not the night

She will leave before you learn her face.
