We all sat on the floor of my room flipping through the channels on my flat screen TV above my fireplace while painting our nails. We ended up stopping the flipping on a channel that was playing "Twilight". I never really have been a huge fan of it, I mean, vampires are supposed to be scary, not glittery. Plus the chances of them being real is like, zero!
"Man I wish I was Bella." Leah stated.
"Why, she ends up being hunted down by a vampire and almost turned, then has to be in a hospital." I stated pointing at the TV while the credits went by.
"Because she gets Edward. Duh." Leah stated putting emphasis on the duh. I simply rolled my eyes and stood up.
"I'm getting a snack, any of you want anything?"
"How 'bout you grab a few bags of chips and bring them in." Rachel smiled up at me.
"Ok, sure." Then I took off down the hallway making my way to the kitchen. When I went in I nearly barged into Rebecca.
"Oh, sorry Daniela, I didn't see you." The young maid stuttered making sure I was still on my feet.
"No it's my fault." I smiled at her.
"Are you in need of anything?" She asked with her sweet smile.
"Oh, um, do you know where the chips are? My friends are feeling snackish." I asked while biting my lip. She simply nodded and went to the cupboard in the far left corner and opened it up and invited me over to pick the chips. I quickly rushed over and grabbed three bags. Sour cream and onion, Barbeque, and Original lays chips. I said a quick thank you then took off down the hall back to my room.
After I had grabbed the chips and we started snacking on them we watched the other Twilight movies since apparently that channel was having a marathon of it.
"I don't get why you aren't into this." Leah exclaimed while tossing a chip at my head.
"Because, it isn't true to the original stories of vampires, plus, why would they sparkle?" I asked.
All the other girls just rolled their eyes and we decided to call it for the night. Soon we all drifted into a blissful sleep.
Just so it is out there I LOVE twilight, in fact that is the series that motivated me into writing this book. The main reason why I was putting so much emphasis on it is for a future chapter. Not really wanting to give any spoilers. ;-) I'll try to post more often!!!
