As the scene fully penetrated Sang's consciousness she became aware of others mingled in the crowd beginning to become agitated and aggressive as well.

Not five feet away from her, a male student--her follower or not she was not sure-reached over and punched another male student in the jaw, the other student immediately coming back with a blow of his own.

A few feet from them a group of girls were all shouting at each other, pushing and pulling, their voices indistinguishable among the rising cacophony of anger and panic pervading the small hallway.

However, among the girls, Sang did recognize the brown hair and arrogant voice of her new 'sister" Marie. I should put a stop to this, Sang thought as she saw a girl grab Marie's hair and pull until Marie was bending over.

Her thoughts were cut off as she was shoved unceremoniously against the wall, pain vibrating up her side and momentarily having the breath literally knocked from her.

Anger ignited but soon dissipated as she realized she was just shoved as a side effect of the two guys now rolling around on the ground trading blows.

It was like a scene from animal kingdom, with all the prey and predators mingled complete with lots of hissing, scratching, and even biting.

"Stop biting," Sang yelled at Angel, easily recognizing her 6 foot height as she bit at the arm of a girl who'd been killing on her hair. Angel's head rose and her eyes landed on Sang's but then the other girl yanked again and Angel went back to struggling with the girl.

Sang knew that if Angel got caught fighting, she'd be able to kiss her basketball team membership goodbye. But Angel herself seemed more interested in taking a chunk out of the blonde girl hanging onto her.

Many hallways away, stuck inside the administrative office, Mr. Hendricks was aware of the happenings enough so that when his secretary entered and relayed "Sir, there is a brawl occurring near the South fire doors," he was nonchalant enough to wave it off saying "It'll clear itself up before we could get there anyway."

Mr. Blackbourne raised a single eyebrow and gave Mr. DeSoto an almost imperceptible head nod. Mr. DeSoto nodded back and began to tell Mr. Hendricks of how irresponsible it was to continue a meeting even after the fire alarm rang--to which Hendricks responded that it was false and the wiring had been faulty for a whole now.

Mr. DeSoto ignored Mr. Hendricks to explain that it was even more irresponsible to allow students to engage in physical violence.

Back at the fight, Dakota Lee was just arriving upon the scene with Nathan Griffin, Gabriel Coleman and Lucian Taylor all at his sides. A few moments later, so was Victor Morgan.

They stood side by side, creating a barrier of bodies slowing the influx of panicking students and teachers to a trickle that managed to get through the small gaps between the boys.

They remained quiet, faces stoic, and wills determined as their rigid bodies vibrated with energy, standing taut like pulled rubber bands ready to spring into action as their leader read the scene and began to give out orders.

Kota nodded once to himself as if approving his thoughts. "Nathan, go to North and Silas, do what you can to help them get the football players to one section and calmed down."

His eyes roamed the scene as he continued, "Gabriel and Victor, those girls," he pointed towards the group where Marie was now standing to the side instructing on fighting moves while two other girls fought, "are getting others to fight. Calm them down and get them to another area of the school but either get their names or let none leave your sight. Im sure Mr.Blackbourne will want to deal with them."

When it was just him and Luke, he glanced over the entire scene once more. Why? What reason could there be to explain this?

Misophonia: hatred of sound; a term coined to describe people who strongly dislike certain sounds. The noise and flashing red light could possibly be inciting some of them to further their actions past what needs to be done.

Collective Hysteria. They're just all giving into their fear.

Or, Kota silently deduced from the increasing aggression in some of the football players, drugs.

"Luke, see what you can do to stop all of the sprinklers and the alarm."They could check off Misophonia at least.

When he was alone, Kota pulled out his cellphone and panned it around the area briefly before sending a copy of the shirt video to Dr. Green and Mr. Blackbourne with a caption asking Dr. Green to bring sedatives.

That done, he awaited their reply.

This scene was completely ridiculous. With all of these students, and for whatever reason even more were still running this way from other areas making the hallways just as congested, it would take hours to get it all sorted.

Turning his back to the scene in front of him, Kota extended his arms and began the arduous task of trying to get people to stop adding themselves to the crowd.

If no more came past him, the crowd could at least stop growing making his brothers jobs much easier.
