Five Wishes (ON HOLD)

Chapter 4 -Part 2-

Danielle P.O.V

Jared and I spent a few hours talking about ourselves. I got to know him. I learned that his idol is Justin Bieber, his favorite color is purple, he is a Directioner, he isn't very good in school, he like food, he loves to surf, he lives in New York -just like me,- and his favorite thing to do is play football and lacrosse.

He learned a lot about me. Jared is really funny. His friend, Jacob Curtis, also auditioned and made it this far. I got to know him too. They are really like my only friends on the X Factor right now.

Anyway, we all went back to the stage for the second challenge. We were all paired up with someone. Surprisingly, that person was Jared. I blushed when we were paired up. He chuckled.

We had to sing a song with a battle type of thing going on between us. I chose the song Just Give Me A Reason by P!nk. I sang the first part while he came in on the second part and we ended the song after his solo. It sounded good. We practiced a few times. Several hours passed by when the judges got us ready.

Arin P.O.V

I was paired up with some dude that I think his name was Jacob? I'm not sure, and I am in no mood to care. I need to get my game on.

"What song do you want to sing?" I asked. He thought for a few minutes before answering my question. "I was thinking....I Gotta Feeling?" He asked making sure it was ok with me. I nodded in approvment.

My part went up until half way through the song. Then he came in. Wow. His voice sound a hell of a lot like a piece of cloth running smoothly against a hard wood floor. It was so strong.

A lot stronger than mine.

I sighed at the thought. We stopped for a few breaks to get some food at the provided food bar. It was all healthy. Yum. Note the sarcasm.

I popped a strawberry into my mouth and enjoyed the juicy flavor that was emptied from it. Strawberries are like the only healthy food that I will eat. That and carrots. Maybe a few more, but I can't name them right now.

To keep the beat to the song, I tapped my foot. Jacob snapped his fingers. We laughed as we cracked funny jokes here and there.

Hailey P.O.V

I was paired with a girl that was my age. I didn't really bother to learn her name, so I just called her curly, which she didn't care.

She had an amazing voice, but mine was probably better. I giggled at the thought. Suddenly something popped into my head.

What will I do if I get advanced to the judges houses? I tensed at the thought. Lets not get ahead of ourselves Hailey.

"Everything alright?" The girl asked. I nodded. I breathed in and out a few times, trying to calm myself down. Success.

"Ok, song?" She asked. I tapped my chin a few times. "Maybe.... We Are Never Getting Back Together?" I thought out loud. She nodded her head. "Do you want first half, or should I?" I asked. "Umm, can you have the second part? I mean, if you want." She said.

"Yeah, it's cool" I smiled at her. She returned the smile as we got straight into rehearsing the song. "Oh. My. God. CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES!!" I yelled running over to the food bar.

I took a bowl full of them and brought them back eating it as I walked. I plopped down. "What some?" I asked I between bites. She nodded and quickly grabbed one strawberry devouring it down in seconds. I did the same with the mine. We both started laughing.

Lindsay P.O.V

"So. Dara." I sighed. We were partnered up, that means either me, or her are going home. "What song?"
