popping knuckles, stretching muscles
Tonight I'm not okay
my fingers fidget, lips bite down
Staring at celings, I'm unwound
Closed eyes, your face in mind
Life is never, never kind
And I'm not fine
You ask me why,
And I say,
You're not with me,
You're not with me so I'm not calm
Because in your cacophonous heartbeats
Is the only place I've ever found peace
