Squirt! Went the jelly container.
My fins were caked with that sticky stuff.
"Puddles? What did you do this time?" Mother asked.
"Nothing!" I lied. I felt around the kitchen for a towel, unaware that I was spreading jam everywhere.
"PUDDLES! What are you trying to accomplish? You're making the whole place sticky!" My mother had just walked in.
"I-I was just..." I whimpered. I couldn't stand to be yelled at by Mother.
"Just what? Making a big mess for me to clean up?" She scolded.
Tears gathered in my eyes. I couldn't see them.
"I wanted t-to make you something... T-to show you that I can do things that the other Pokemon can d-do..." I stammered, lip quivering.
Mother sighed. Things like this have always been happening, and always will.
"You know that that can't happen, Puddles. But... Could you at least make an effort to stay out of trouble?" I felt her down me in baby wipes and dry my tears.
"Stay in your room until I call you for dinner, alright?"
"Okay... Sorry Mama..." I felt my way through the halls and stumbled into my room.

After dinner, I returned to my room, and found out that my big brother decided to visit.
"Splash? Where are you? Say something, please."
I heard quiet giggling. He was going to mess with me.
"I'm right behind ya!"
I turned around.
"No, I'm right here!"
I turned left.
"Over here, stupid!"
I turned right.
"Weather's nice and mild where I'm at!"
Soon, he had me spinning in circles.
"Wish you could see?
"Yes," I mumbled.
"What was that?" He said.
I answered in a normal tone.
"Didn't quite catch that one."
"YES!" I bursted into tears. Once again, he had gone too far.
"Too bad, loser." And that was the last I had heard of him for the day.

That night, I faced the window and imagined the stars. Daddy always said that they could make wishes come true, so why not now?
"Stars, if you're there, I was wondering... If.... You know, you guys could...if it's not too much trouble...... C-could you let me see? I'm tired of messing up with every single thing I do... I want to be able to go a whole day without getting into trouble... I can't be useless for my whole life!" Again, I cried until my tears ran out, just in time for bed time.
