Meet the Red Hood

(A/N- ok so I really have no idea how this would ever work but just go with it ok? So Jason actually died when Dick was thirteen. Dick had taken a break from the super hero business and then got back in it to honor his memory. Then the stuff at Cadmus happened and so on so forth. Well when he died Jason was sixteen so he's older then Dick. And of course we all know he could never stay dead...)

The team was currently staking out a bunch of mobsters in hopes that they would lead them to their boss. They had followed them to a warehouse district when shots rang out. The team shared a quick glance before running in weapons drawn. Inside was a figure wearing a red helmet with an AK-47 to the head of a mobster. All the others lay lifeless on the floor. Before anyone could react he shot the last man and stood up only noticing the team for the first time.

Everyone was shocked when Robin just put his birdarang away with a sigh and glared at the man. "J! We needed him! Couldn't you have, I don't know, killed him after we found out who he worked for?!"

The older man walked over to Robin which made the team tense. He ruffled the younger's hair while laughing. "Hey D! What brings you and your little Justice League pep squad to Blud Haven?"

Robin sighed "well we were trying to find out who these goons were working for before some idiot had to go and blow their brains out! When Batman asks I am so blaming you for this!"

The man ruffled his hair even more to his annoyance "would it make you happy if I just told you who they worked for?"

"fine." robin pouted and crossed his arms.

"Guy named Mario Martinez." He stated plainly.

Robin frowned "Hmm he has a dealership that runs out of Gotham. So what were his goons doing here in Blud Haven? You know I sure do wish we had one of his henchmen around so we could ask them why they were here... oh wait we did until you shot them!"

He put his hands up in defense "ok ok look I'm sorry for killing your suspects! Can we just get past that part and continue with trying to figure out what they were doing here?"

Robin sighed "I guess... but I'm still blaming you if Bats asks!"

The man sighed "I thought you might..." Robin let out one of his signature cackles "have I ever told you how extremely creepy that laugh of yours is? Oh and just wondering here but why do all your little side kick friends have their weapons pointed at us?"

Robin kept laughing "J you just murdered five guys in cold blood they probably think you're some kind of serial killer..." he paused "quit smirking! Don't even try to hide it we both know you were. You're proud to think of yourself as a serial killer aren't you?"

"More of an anti hero but... yeah." He started laughing as Robin sighed.

Wally finally spoke up "um Rob? Why are you talking to you know... the bad guy?"

"I'm not bad I'm misunderstood!" the man protested.

"No you bad, J. completely bad." Robin confirmed while the man just pouted. Robin tackled the man in a very awkward and very unexpected hug.

The man let out a very unmanly yelp as he was tackled to the ground by a cackling Robin. "Rob?"

"Yes J?" Robin asked innocently from atop the red masked man.

"Get the (A/N- Insert colorful language here) off me!!!" he yelled.

"Jason! Language! Alfred's gonna have to wash your mouth out with soap again." The man growled "on second thought I think I'll just be getting up now..." Robin jumped off his stomach and hid behind Wally.

"Dude what are you doing?" Wally asked.

Robin poked his head out from behind Wally "Using you as a human shield from an angry big brother! Duh!"

"HE'S YOUR BROTHER?!?!" the entire team yelled at ounce.

"Yes if I do remember correctly that is what I said... two seconds ago!!! Seriously people you need to pay more attention." Robin laughed to himself.

"But he's a murder!!!" Artemis yelled.

"What it's not like I chose his career for him." Robin stated.

"You guys do realize I am still right here..." Jason started.

"Robin we have to turn him into the police." Aqualad said in his ever stoic leader voice.

"I'm sure he had a very good reason for killing them." Robin defended.

"That doesn't make him any less a killer." Aqualad retorted.

All of a sudden gun shots rang through the building and everyone looked over to Jason who had his gun held above his head. Robin face palmed "was that really necessary?"

He shrugged "I figured it was the easiest way to get your attention."

Robin face palmed again muttering "idiot!" suddenly distant sirens were heard speeding towards the warehouse.

"Well looks like that's my cue to leave. Hey D wanna come over to my place on Saturday and play video games?" he asked while rummaging through his jacket. he asked while rummaging through his jacket.

"Sounds asterous. Wanna pick me up at the house around..." he paused "12ish?"

"Sounds great see you then!" and with that he took out a grappling gun and swung up into the rafters right as the first cop car pulled up.

Robin turned around to see the team looking dumbfounded. He cackled as he walked off to the bio ship.

"Um what just happened?" Superboy asked.

"I think we just met Robin's... brother..." Megan stated dumbfounded.
