I find a very shallow pulse "Please don't die Kyle I don't know what I would do without you please." I rip my phone out of my back pocket and dial 911 "911 operator, please state your emer-" I didn't even let the operator finish the sentence before I started frantically talking "My friend slit his wrists vertically p-please get here quick- h-his pulse is very low" "Where are you?" The operator asks calmly "1934 Parkway Avenue" I reply "We'll have someone there as soon as possible - try to keep pressure on the would until EMS gets there, stay calm, i'm going to get off the line okay?" She asks "Yes." I say
