New Acquaintances

*Rayne's p.o.v*

The bus ride to school was normal just as I had expected. pulling up to the school I examined the large grey building It had tons of windows and there were at-least 100 kids standing in the court yard out front this was definitely the biggest high-school I had been to thus-far.

Walking off of the bus a few people gave me quick glances but, other than that it was nothing out of the ordinary. I headed towards the main office so I could meet with the principle and get my schedule.

Knocking on the door i heard a sweet voice reply faintly "come in" as i opened the door I saw a skinny, short, black haired women and I smiled "Hi" I said shyly " I'm Rayne" she motioned me to sit down in a wooden chair in front of her desk and as I did she stood up walking to the front of her desk.

" Hello Rayne it's so refreshing to see a bright new face in this school." she smiled and her blue eyes glittered in the artificial light illuminating the room " It feels nice to be here and have a new start" I said timidly something about authoritative figures always made me nervous and I was cursing myself for not being more confident. "ah yes" she said smiling as she picked up a manila file that i was o so to used to. " not to worry Rayne nothing like last year will happen I assure you of it." she said placing the file further back on her desk " thank you very much" I said with a slight smile on my face.

"now Rayne just so you know i'm Ms. Brok and if you need anything at all feel free to ask me. until then here is your schedule." she handed me a white piece of paper that had 5 columns each with 6 blocks on them.

I smiled "thank you so much" I said as I rose to my feet and placed my leather bag back onto my shoulder. Just then the door opened and a tall rather cute boy walked in smiling happily. " o by the way Rayne this is Bryden he'll be showing you around today. you to get along now because I hope to see you become good friends" with that Ms. Brok walked to the back of her desk and sat down and Bryden and I walked out into the hallway
