Prologue
The creature waited until dusk fell before emerging from his cave. The drowning sun cast an orange glow on the surroundings and the creature, once again, was awed by its beauty. The rocks were glowing, reflecting the window of the west and the wind gave a slight breeze, the last of the day. The air was fresh and smelled sweetly. Like everyday there were not a lot of people who came to this part of town but it still waited until night was about to fall before emerging from his cave. The creature breathed in the sight and sighed.
The creature, itself, was a hideous sight. It had no fur unlike his relations and the skin underneath was charred and burned. The wirnkles on his back were more prominent then ever and he was permanently bent so that it couldn’t stand up anymore. His muscles convulsed and contracted and he couldn’t stay still for long. The only word the creature could say anymore was “Feltin” his own name.
Just then, the figure emerged. Frightened, it squeaked and hit in his cave.
The figure came into it, ducking his head, his hood covering his face.
The figure had a cane, covered in jewels that glowed dimly in the sun with a snake head on top.
“Feltin,” the man said, his voice deep and commanding.
“Prepare the glider...”
