It's my first day at this new school and I'm honestly so excited. Since I've left home, I've been needing to go to school to get the last few grades I need. I left home when I was 16 years old (still am) because I just couldn't stand it all anymore. The fighting and screaming everyday, it was all too much! My parents used to fight everyday and they barely even knew I was there half the time. That's when I turned 16 years old, and it was now legal for me to leave home. I took that opportunity and left within 3 days.
-
Now I'm joining school again (after sitting in my apartment for 2 months doing nothing) I can barely contain my excitement. I choice my outfit (as my school was a non-uniform school) and spent 10 minutes on hair and makeup. I skipped breakfast and since I was early I decided to have a chat with my neighbour Dora who lived across from me. She is 73 years old and honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met. She has helped me with so much with my parents and she is always there when I need her.
This woman is practically my best friend.
-
I looked at my watch and realised that it was time to go so I said goodbye to Dora and I was off.
-
I strolled to the bus stop and waited about 2 minutes for my bus to arrive. In that time I scrolled through my Instagram feed and liked a few pictures. When the bus arrived I took my seat and plugged in my headphones to listen to some arctic monkeys. I was ruthlessly Interrupted 4 minutes later.
-
"Hello love!" A boy with brown curls and a mocking smile, said and sat down to the empty space next me. Well, he was quite gorgeous and he seemed like the type of guy that girls swoon over. But he just wasn't my type and seemed like a douche.
"Hi!" I said with a fake smile and turned back to face my lap which held my phone safely. "I haven't seen you around, are you new?" He asked looking directly into my eyes. Ugh this dude just won't quit. I woke up about 1 hour ago and I wasn't really in the mood for chit-chat with a random stranger.
-
"Yeah, I'm starting today!" I said looking up at him and put my phone away to be polite. Since this guy wanted to start a conversation. I'll give him one.
"Cool!" He said with the most biggest smile. Oh he did have the most beautiful smile but I still didn't like him. On that note the bus arrived at school and I was about to start my first day of the rest of my life.
