When Alfred and I woke up we ate breakfast. I ate bacon and eggs and he had of course, dog food. I gave him his gift and he ripped it open with his claws and his teeth. Alfred loved them! He bit the bone ten times and then we threw the ball around. Later I went to walk around the mall again so I could get used to it. I saw someone I recognize so I went to talk to him. I asked him what his name is and he said Nate. I said my name is Alyssa and he remembered me too. Then I realized, this Nate was the Nate I grew up with back in Quebec Canada! I invited him to come see my new puppy and he said yes, so went back to my house and Alfred loved Nate. Alfred isn't shy and he loves people! I told Nate it was Alfred's birthday today. " Well Happy Birthday Alfred!" Said Nate. Nate told me about a really cool animal saving place called Hope For Wildlife. He also said that they were asking for volunteers. Nate knew I loved animals. I told him I might give it try. "Thanks for letting me know!" I said. "Your welcome!" Said Nate. "I got to go, sorry bye!" Said Nate. "Bye!" I said as Nate walked out the door. "Arf Arf Arf!" Barked Alfred. Nate drove his Blue car back home. Then I took Alfred outside to do his business. When he finished I went to get his bone and ball to play with. He played for about an hour and then I fed him and myself. I went online to check out Hope For Wildlife. "Maybe I should try it..." I thought.
