Chapter 14: Kidnapped

I look through the window and look to see who it is. "OH NO! THIS IS NOT GOOD!" I run back into my room and pull out my phone. I call Sidney and James. It rings three times before someone picks up:

Me: Sidney you need to come over ASAP!

Sidney: Kate, what's wrong?

Me: He is here! You need to come and bring James. He is here for me!

Sidney: Kate, calm down. I'm on my way!

Me: HURRY!

I run to lock the bedroom door, grab two sticks and lock myself in my bathroom. I cannot believe that Jay came to my house at ten at night. "Kate? Open up!" he yells. I don't answer. "I know you are home!" I hear a banging on the door. I think he broke the door. I heard him walking through my house. "Sid where are you?" I say to myself as my phone rings. It's a text from Sidney.

Sidney: We are outside, Jay broke the front door and is in the house. Where are you?

Me: In the master bath, please hurry I think he found me.

Sidney: Stay there, James and I will be there ASAP.

"KATE OPEN THE DOOR!" Jay yells. I don't answer back. "Fine, if that's how you want to play." I hear him  break down the bedroom door. I grab my hockey stick and hold it out. The door knob starts to turn, but it is locked. Just then Sidney and James knock on the window. I turn around and run to the window. I open it and jump out.

"Thank God you are here." I say as I hug them. Just than Jay broke the bathroom door and stormed in.

"KATE! WHERE ARE YOU!"

"Run!" I say as Sid, James and I run toward the car. When we reach the car I hear something break. I turn around and see the living room window is broken and a figure stands right in front of us. It starts to walk toward us, but than there are three figures. It was pitch black out and I couldn't really see who the figures were. All I remember is seeing Sid and James fall to the ground. "NO!" I cried than I get hit with something, I am knocked out.

The Next Morning

I slowly open my eyes. The sun is shinning through the car window and it is lightly raining. Wait...CAR WINDOW?! I take a good look around. James and Sid are laying next to me. I crawl over to James and try to walk him up. Nothing I did worked, so I crawled over to Sidney and tried to wake him up. His eyes shot open and he sat up. His hands were tied behind his back and mine were tied in front of me. Wow, I could be such a fail sometimes. I pulled the tape off of his mouth and than off of mine.

"Kate, are you ok?" Sidney asks.

"Don't worry, I'm fine." I say as I smile back. "Are you ok?"

"Ya. Where is James?" We both crawl over to him and wake him up.

"DUDE WAKE UP!" Sidney yelled.

"Ok, ok! I'm up!" James snaped back. Sid and James sat back to back and tried to untie the knots from the rope around there hands. It was kind of funny to watch them struggle. "SID! YOU JUST CLAWED ME!" James whined.

"SORRY!" Sid shot back. "If you would just sit still!"

"Really guys?" I say and I crawl over to them. I split them apart and untie the knots. After I untie both of them James turns around and unties my hands. "Thanks James." I say as I hug him.

"Where are we?" Sidney asks as the three of us crawl over to the window.

"We are parked at a rest stop. WE ARE IN WASHINGTON!" I scream.

"Shh, here comes Jay." Sidney says as he covers my mouth. Jay comes over to the GMC and opens the side door. He throws us something wraped in paper.

"Here, breakfast." he says as he closes the door. The three of us sit there and stare at it.

"Maybe it's poisined." James says.

"I don't even want to touch the wrapping." I say. Just than the car starts and we begin moving. Someone is in the car with Jay. "Is that..." I start but Sidney cuts me off.

"Chara?" I try and listen to the conversation between the two:

Jay: I'm telling you, we scored big with Kate, Sid, and James.

Chara: Maybe Kate will leave Sid for one of us. They both laugh.

Jay: Maybe, but we have to hid them and we can't let anyone know we kidnaped them. The cops will be all over us if they find out.

Chara: I have the perfect place in mind.

I look over to Sid and James. "What the hell?" I ask. They both srug and lay down. I lay down next to them and crule up next to Sid. Before I know it we come to a stop. I hear Jay and Chara get out of the car and they walk around to the back where we are. They open the trunk and we all scream.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
