It was on Thursday and it was the day they had set for the bootcamp, Ben was still having doubtful thinking about the trip because ever since he got the mail from Aina the previous sunday, he had not heard a thing from Aina.
"This is serious, her phone is not even going through...why did she send the mail and not call?" He asked himself.
After a while he prepared to go for the Bootcamp even if he did not see Aina there was a plan B he had and he was ready to execute it.
"I am sure there would be some other beautiful girls there for me, so if Aina did not come for the Bootcamp I will have to 'put my net in another ocean' to catch another fish" he thought.
After half an hour, Ben was on his way to the church and the bus provided for the trip was ready to take them to the venue of the Bootcamp.
"Men I hope this bootcame thing would make sense or else I will blame it on Aina when I get back" he said to himself.
When Ben got to the church entrance, he was surprised to see Aina and a couple of friends chatting and laughing about the previous year's experience at the Bootcamp.
He sigh as he walked to where Aina was standing carrying a mountain back pack where she had all the things that she needed for the bootcamp. "Oh you are here!" Aina said in a welcoming tone. "Yea, what happened to your phone? I tried calling you since on Sunday when I got your mail but it was not just going through" he replied.
"Emm my phone fell into water and got spoilt that Sunday so I had to leave church early so I can go repair it" she said. Ben paused for a split second and remembered that he did not see her in church that sunday. "Ok so that's the reason" he thought.
The other teenagers were surprised because Ben and Aina had spoke to each other like they were already dating.
"We are leaving in ten minutes, so pack your bags and get into the bus quickly" a man who wore a camouflaged combat trouser and a jacket with a cowboy hat had instructed them.
Within five minutes they were all in the bus and the driver rolled out.
Some of the teens would never keep their mouth shut and the others were quite gentle. Ben did not talk to Aina for the full trip that lasted approximately four hours, all he did was to listen to music with his iPod touch.
When they had finally reached their destination, Ben fell in love with the scenery in front of him and that was when his thoughts reminded him that he had not talked to Aina all through the journey but then he did not want to look like he was forcing himself on her.
There were many other teens who had come from other branches of the same church all over Africa for the Bootcamp. "This is gonna be fun" he said as he followed the others into the arena.
The bootcamp was to take place at the church head quarter.
There were two larg building in the church compound that appears to be the hostels, one for the boys and the other for the girls.
There was another big tent that was built some meters away from the boys hostels that seem to be a sort of clinic.
Ben took a quick glance around the compound that looked like two local football stadium put together.
He saw a small football field but did not get excited because he was not a football fan.
There was a separate field far from the hostels that is apparently the training ground for the exercise.
And there was a very large building, much bigger than the other two hostels built close to the main entrance gate. Ben could not figure out what that particular building was meant for.
