The Big Game

*Rayne's p.o.v*

He invited me to his football game and I said yes. I felt so connected to him like I could tell him anything and he'd never judge me. as we walked together we talked about nonsense like our favorite colors, foods, books, etc. 

as we arrived at the field he smiled at me. He had the most gorgeous smile i'd ever seen. unfortunately I didn't know much about football but, I was here for Bryden anyways. "Sit right in front so I can see you while I play OK?" he asked gently as he walked me to the stands I smiled and nodded "you got it" I said smiling gently as I climbed into the stands and sat in the front row watching as Bryden strolled off to the locker rooms to get ready for the big game.

As I sat down a few kids I had met today came and sat next to me. the only ones I recognized were Ember and Zac. Ember was a fiery red head that had a lip piercing and dressed a bit rebelliously but her and I had really clicked in chemistry and she even invited me to sit with her at lunch. That's where I met Zac her boyfriend. He was about the same height as Bryden. He had long black hair and gave that sort of skater boy vibe off of himself. we talked and joked around until the game began smiling we watched and every time our team the warriors scored a touchdown we'd stand up and scream our heads off and for the first time in a long time I felt genuinely happy. It was absolutely amazing.

The game was tied 40-40 all we needed was this last touch down and we'd win there was 10 seconds on the clock and everyone in the stands were on their feet. the clock was ticking down and Bryden made the final touch down and the warriors win! We all clapped and cheered smiling as the football players met all the cheering fans in the crowd and Bryden walked up to me smiling and hugging me

"ew get off me you're all sweaty" I giggled softly and kissed his cheek. He smiled at me and nodded "you should come to the after party with me it'll be fun!" to be honest I had never thought anything good could come out of high-school parties but I couldn't say no to his adorable face so I smiled and nodded "OK, sure" I smiled as he hugged me again "wait here I'll be back in 10 minutes.
