I woke up the next day at 6am, tired. My alarm screamed at me to get up. I sat up, frustrated. Me and my alarm have a love hate relationship. Mostly hate.  I crawled out of my bed and dragged myself to my closet, where I picked out my outfit for today. I picked a black tight crop top, skinny jeans, white converse and sunglasses from topshop. I grabbed a baggy sweatshirt saying "Whatever."
I skipped to my desk and straightened my brown, long hair and finished my make up with a perfect winged eyeliner. I grabbed my backpack and I was out the door.
-
I caught the bus just as it was leaving and took my seat. Which happened to be the last seat. Brad climbed on the bus next and came looking for a seat. There was no seat. I smiled at him and gestured him to sit next to me, which he did.
"Hey!" I said smiling and moving my backpack from the empty seat so that he could sit on it.
"Hi!" He said also smiling.
"I saw you smoking yesterday! You smoke?" I asked, curious.
"Yeah, you don't mind do you?" He said. Um well I actually did mind.
"Well yes I do. I've just had a bad experience with it that's all. But you can do what you want." I said, wishing I didn't bring it up.
"Hey, do you want to sit with us at lunch?" He asked awkwardly. Well okay that's a bit of an awkward question. We aren't 5, if you know what I mean?
"Um okay. Yeah sure!" I said and at that moment we arrived at school.
-
"YOU WHAT!?" Chloe practically screamed as I broke the news to her in geography. Oh come on! It's not that big of a deal!
"Oh come on Chloe. It's not that big of a deal. And I couldn't exactly say no could I?" I said to her. Rubbing her back trying to calm her down.
"But it is the biggest deal! EVER! Good girls can't clash with Bad boys! It's not right! We'll be slut shamed! Our grades will go down the drain. We will probably run in with the police and a disgrace to our parents." I stopped her before she could continue. I just laughed at how much of a drama queen she was being.
"Chloe it's just lunch." I said to her and she seemed to relax after that. Good thing Florence and Abby was okay with it. The bell soon rang and we skipped to our next classes. Mine was history, my favourite subject.
I was sat next to Tristan and we chatted all lesson. He's actually a really decent guy.
He then brought up the conversation about lunch.
"So I heard your sitting with us at lunch now? Brad seemed excited by that." He said raising his eyebrows.
I ignored his comment about Brad.
"Well I couldn't exactly say no could I?" I said "He took me by surprise."
On that note the bell rang for the end of lesson. That also meant it's the start of lunch.
