( Updating again today because I really fell behind lol. So I hope you're liking it. Love you guys)

I got up before Cal, and jumped in the shower, trying to wash of the smell of sex and pizza.Trying to be quiet in the shower was hard, it seemed like everything wanted to fall of the shelves and I felt bad for the sleeping boy. I turned of the water, rung my hair out, and stepped out onto the rug, wrapping myself in a plushy towel. I could hear him in the kitchen, and I figured he was just getting some toast or something, so I didn't hurry to get dressed.

Today was going to be a lazy day, so I pulled on a pair of Cal's sweatpants and a T-shirt, letting my stringy, wet hair fall around my shoulders. When I walked out of the steamy bathroom, the smell of maple syrup lingered in the air, and the sound of him singing drifted towards me.
"What are you doing?" I asked as he stood in front of the stove, shirtlessly cooking
"I'm making you french toast" he turned around smiling, with a smudge of batter on his cheek
"Well that's sweet" I smiled and pulled the hand towel off the counter "Come here" I laughed wiping the smudge from his cheek, and pecking his lips.
"I just wanted to do something nice for you, yano after last night" he winked, and I felt my cheeks getting hot at the mention of the night before
"Oh, okayyyy" I grabbed a plate out of the cabinet for him and set it next to the stove, for him to put the pieces on, then grabbed two more for us, and some forks.

We sat down at the kitchen table and dug in. It was silent except for chewing, because honestly, it was one of the best breakfasts I had ever had. "Babe, you did a really good job. That was amazing" I praised, taking both of our plates to the sink.
"Thanks" I felt both of his arms wrap around my waist and pull me against "Only the best for you" he kissed the side of my head, making me grin. "What are you doing today baby?"
"I'm having a study session with Lottie"
"Michael's girl from last night?"
"Yeah. She needs help with our trig homework, so I figured I'd help"
"Well, that's fun. Can I invite Luke over?"
"I'm not your mother Cal, you don't have to ask"
"But it's your house"
"And you haven't left it since we got back, so it's basically your house now too. Plus, they come over unannounced all the time. So, yeah, it's fine"
"Okay. I'll go text him. I hope your study session goes well." he kissed my cheek and ran off to the bed room.
Hey. Still on for the study sess today? -Grace
Yeah totally -Charlotte
Cool. This should be fun -Grace

I texted her the address and 10 minutes later she was there, dressed in the same attire as I was, with her hair pulled up. We hugged at the door and sat down on the couch, spreading out our books and papers.
"Okay so I have absolutely no idea what I wrote down yesterday. Can you try to make sense of my notes?" she handed me a notebook with chicken scratch in the page, and I looked at it wide eyed "I know my hand writing is shit, sorry" she laughed
"Okay..." I found the mistake she had made in her notes, and pointed at it "see that's the wrong coefficient. You multiply by 'x' not 'y'"
"God.." Luke's voice came from the, now open, door "I love it when you talk nerdy to me" he laughed shrugging off his coat
"Shut up Luke"
"Hi to you to Grace. Lottie.." he directed a slight nod at her "nice to see you again"
"Calum's in my room, waiting for you"
"Oh I bet he is" he smirked, pushing his teeth against his black lip ring
"Oh go away you pervert" I threw a couch pillow at him as he walked towards my room "Sorry about him. They're all like this" I laughed to Lottie
"Even Michael?"
"Oh yeah. Michael is one of the worst" I laughed "But I gotta love them all"
"That's sweet. You guys must be really close"
"Oh yeah, ever since they moved, we've basically been inseparable"
"Oh, cool.." she turned her attention back to her notebook "so it's 'x' not 'y'?"
"Right. And then you substitute"
"Okay. Thanks, that's really all I needed" she started to stand up
"You want to hang out for a little while?" I tried to prolong her visit
"Do you want me to?"
"Yeah, it'll be fun. We can watch a movie or something"
"Okay.." she stuffed her books into her bag and sat back down "I'll stay for a while"

I popped in a sappy rom-com and got some pretzels for us to eat while we watched. Every once in a while we would hear the boys yelling at their video game from my room, and we'd try to ignore it, but would end up laughing and mimicking them. When the movie ended and the pretzels were gone, she stood up, and this time I didn't stop her. "Well thanks for hanging out, and explaining that shit to me. I have to go now"
"Okay" I stood up and walked her to the door "See you tomorrow morning"
"Yeah. See you"

I decided it was time to crash the boys party. I ran into my room and jumped onto the bed in between them, causing them to lose focus on the game and groan. "Come on ladies, stop complaining." I laughed, kicking Calum in the butt, then Luke.
"Grace, we're about to win. We'll fulfill your need for attention in a second" Luke laughed, but I didn't find it funny, so I climbed onto his back and covered his eyes, causing him to furiously shake his head "Grace, commmeee onnn. Seriously" he finally got my hands off of his face, but by that time they had already lost "FUCKKKKK"
"I needed you guys to fulfill my need for attention now" I laughed, receiving scowls from them and settling at the top of the bed again. "Sooo.. what'd you guys do? What'd you guys talk about?" I smirked, them still frowning
"Wellll.. we almost won our game, yano the one we've been working on for months, the one level we couldn't beat, yeah we almost had it beat. But then we lost all of a sudden" Luke ranted
"Strange. I wonder why" I chuckled, with a sense off accomplishment. They spent to much time playing video games anyway, it was unhealthy really.
"Yeah, wonder why" Calum griped and pulled me down by them again "Wanna play too?" he asked, pecking my cheek
"Nah. You guys want to get food? I'm starving"
"Chinese sounds good" Luke piped, staring at his phone
"Chinese always sounds good"
"Chinese it is. I'm inviting Kai, is that good?"
"Of course it is"

Calum left to get the food, and to pick up Kai.
"Luke. When are you going to ask Kai out?" I blurted out into the silence
"I ermm, I don't know. Soon."
"I've heard that before. Do I have to do this for you too? I wouldn't be against"
"No, no. I think I can do it. I just don't know how to"
"Well, it's simple, just do it. That's what Calum did"
"If you haven't noticed, I'm not Calum. I'm better looking, and I am less confident"
"That was so contradictory, you asshole. And I think if you just get it done and ask, it won't be so bad, and there won't be a constant weight on your shoulders"
"Yeah, yeah. I get what you're saying, but again, awkward." he used his hands to extenuate what he was saying
"Luke, if you don't do it tonight, I'm doing it for you"
"Fine.." he huffed and rolled his eyes, "I'll do it"

Calum and Kai arrived and we all devoured the food. I was eyeing up Luke the whole time and he kept avoiding my gaze. When we were done, and Kai and Calum were cleaning up I shot Luke another glance and he shook his head and got up. He went over to Kai at the sink and leaned against the counter, though she didn't pay much attention to him.
"Hey, umm, so Kai, would you, ermm, maybe want to, yano, be my girlfriend?" he finally spit out and she and Calum both looked at him, surprised
"Wait, did you just ask me out?" her eyebrows raised, when she asked and Calum stared over her head at him. I got up and grabbed Calum, dragging him away from the already awkward situation
"Yeah. I did" he reassured himself and her
"Yeah, I'd love to be your girlfriend" they both smiled cheekily, then looked at me. I smiled and shook my head in approval. Calum wrapped an arm around my shoulder and looked down at me, kissing the top of my head.
"You got the kids together. Good job baby"
