*Lacy's point of veiw*
"Please don't make me do this, Allen." He scoffed and glared at me. "Do it. He's a disgrace. Get rid of him." I sighed, on the verge of tears. I didn't see why we had to do this to him. He's just a kid. My kid! But Allen is Alpha, and what he says goes. I nodded and walked upstairs. I slowly walked down the hall, stopping at my son's door. I knocked. "Sweetie?" I heard footsteps and then the door opened. "Yeah mom?" Eli asked tiredly.
I held back tears and hugged him. He was confused, but hugged back. We stayed like that for a little while. I guess he caught on, because he whimpered and started to cry. I whispered comforting things to him, slowly swaying side to side. He eventually stopped crying, and let go. I let go as well and forced a smile. He was shaking slightly. But then I had a realization. "Eli, can you please get in your form?" He nodded and got down on all fours. I looked away while he changed, I hated the pain that he showed. I heard a sickening snap and when I looked back I saw a white wolf with a big black splotch on his side.
I frowned slightly. Allen was right. He was very small. A runt. An Omega. I winced at the thought of those words. I faked a smile and pat his head, scratching behind his ears. Eli 'smiled' and panted happilly. I walked down stairs and he followed me. I stopped in the living room. The whole pack was there... waiting. Allen was stone-faced, my sister Katie was frowning, Lane was on the verge of tears, and Derrik, Jane, and David were laughing slightly. I glared at the idiots and walked out the door. But, Eli didn't follow me. He trotted over to Lane and whimpered. I watched as Lane knealed down and hugged Eli. Eli licked his cheek and nuzzled him. Everbody gasped. I didn't. I knew all along. They would have been a good couple...
I called Eli and he nuzzled Lane again before walking over to me. I smiled and mouthed 'thankyou' to Lane. He nodded but then walked over to me. "C-can I come, pleathe?" He asked, with his lisp. I looked at Allen. He rolled his eyes and nodded. Lane smiled slightly and fiddled with something in his pocket. I decided I would ask him what it was later. Eli, Lane, and I walked out the door and into the woods. We walked for a long time. I wanted to get as far from the house as possible. We passed streams, lakes, and we stopped at a waterfall. We took in the beautiful scenery for a few minutes. But then we started walking again. I lead us to the edge of an old town, behind a store. I figured this was a good place to... leave him.
But, I turned around and saw Eli and Lane staring at each other. They weren't talking out loud, but they were having a conversation with their eyes. Lane turned to me and nodded. I bit my lip and pulled out a rope. I tied it to one of Eli's paws and tied the other end to a pipe. I wasn't worried he would break it because he wasn't that strong. He whimpered and I looked away. Lane pulled a strap out of his pocket. "What's that?" I asked. He smiled sheepishly. "A collar." He held it out and I read what it said. "Eli the wolf, property of Lane" I laughed and shook my head. He chuckled and strapped it around Eli's neck. "You're mine. Mine." He said to Eli. He nodded and licked Lane's face. I smiled and walked off into the woods. I didn't want to say goodbye... so I made my way home quickly, Lane following me.
