I sat in front of the mirror completing the finishing touches to my makeup.

Tonight was the night Nolan was taking me out on our first official date.

I was actually low-key excited.

I slipped on the long tight black leather fitted pencil skirt on as well as the matching black leather bralet.

Thankfully August agreed to stay here with Elana while I went out.

He wasn't happy about me going out and I could tell because he had tried persuading me to stay home but I didn't give in.

I felt like I needed this and him holding me back because he was jealous or whatever the case was wasn't helping me at all.

I laid back onto da' couch while Elana leaned against meh' as we continued to watch endless episodes of "Rugrats".

Da' bell rang indicatin' that Kiara's lame ass date was hea'. I ain't even know why she wanted to go out wit' some dude she hardly knew but it wasn't mah' business to get into.

As long as he ain't cross no lines with meh' then everythin' would stay cool.

I tapped Elana's thigh signalin' for ha' to get up and walked towards da' door.

I took a deep breath befor' openin' the do'.

"Wassup man?" I looked at the nigga with his hand held in front of me as if I was suppose to shake it or somethin' but I ain't say nothin'.

I stepped aside eyein' da' nigga from head to toe.

"Nolan!" Elana squealed leapin' into his arms.

Wha' da' fuck? Am I missin' somethin'?

I looked down at them as he bent down to ha' level and started to talk to ha'.

The sound of anotha' do' bein' opened  caused me to look up and see Kiara steppin' out.

I ain't gon' lie she was lookin' all types of right in dat outfit she was wearin', it made me wanna-.

"Okay August I'll be back late tonight."

"Uh-."

"Elana, baby, mommy is gonna go out with Nolan tonight I'll be back soon. Okay?"

"Okay mommy, have fun." She smiled kissin' ha' on ha' forehead.

But I was still stuck on how incredibly sexy she was lookin'.

I swallowed da' huge lump in mah' throat snappin' out of the trance I was in.

"Whea' y'all goin' tonight?"

"I was actually plannin' on not sayin' anything tonight, since it's kinda of a surprise."

"Oh. Well bring ha' back home safe she has a daughta' to take care of." He nodded his head and then looked at ha' smirkin'.

"Trust me...I will." I scrunched mah' face up lookin' at dis' clown ass nigga.

He was fuckin' corny as hell.
