"Princess!" He smiled and held out his arms. She grinned and walked over to him as fast as she could. He grabbed her and picked her up. She dropped her crutches with a clatter, and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I love you." She whispered, giggling. He set her down on the bed and crouched down in front of her. He traced patterns on her legs and looked at her happily.
"Things are gonna change soon." He promised.
"Whaddya mean?" Misook asked, puzzled.
"Soon, I'll be able to visit you all the time, I won't be a part of the Yakuza, and you won't be in danger anymore." He grabbed her hands and kissed her knuckles. She laughed and smiled broadly, leaning down and resting her forehead on his.
"I'm so glad." She murmured, kissing his nose.
"I love you." He kissed her and pushed her back down on the bed. She laughed and held him gently.
"I love you too."
"Hey. Sorry I'm late." He panted breathless. She shook her head and patted the seat next to her.
"I haven't been let in yet."
"Where are your parents?" He asked.
"They, they didn't want to come. They were pissed when I told them. They've practically disowned me." She sighed and grabbed his hand.
"It's okay." He reassured her and kissed her cheek.
"Eunsuh." The nurse called. She stood and he followed her. The nurse helped her into the bed and Eunsuh laid down. He waited beside her silently.
"Hello." The doctor smiled at them politely. After a few preparations, the sonogram began. He stood up and grabbed her hand. They looked at the screen and the doctor pointed out the baby.
"Jimin." She whispered, tears welling in his eyes. He squeezed her hand tightly and smiled so hard his cheeks hurt. Tears welled in his eyes too.
"I'll go grab the picture." The doctor smiled, leaving them alone. She looked at him and he wiped away her tears gently. He leaned his head against hers,
"That's our baby."
Jungkook grabbed her hand and led her through the city.
"Where are we going?" She asked, curious. He just smiled and pulled her along. Finally, they got to the park.
"This is why you wanted me to bring a bathing suit?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I thought we should go on a normal date, after last time." He shrugged.
"So we're dating?" She giggled. He squeezed her and tickled her a little.
"Of course we are, stupid." He bought them tickets and they entered the water park. She changed and he changed, and they met by the the lazy river. He grabbed a tube and pulled her along to one of the water slides. She giggled and laughed behind him as the waited in line. Finally it was their turn. She sat in front and he sat behind her.
"I'm so excited." She bounced up and down in the tube.
"I swear you're in kindergarten." He complained, then the life guard pushed them down the slide. She screamed in surprise and he grabbed the handle bars. The ride was over in a moment and they were capsized in the pool. She jumped out of the water and he followed, dragging their tube. She looked beautiful in the sunlight, the water glistened off her skin and her hair hung around her face. And her smile. That smile was the best, it was the most wonderful thing he had ever seen. He couldn't help himself, as soon as she turned around he planted a kiss, right on her smile. She cried out in surprise, but she didn't mind.
"We're in public." She giggled, pulling away.
"Fine." He grumbled, pulling her into the lazy river. They played with each other, splashing and capsizing one another. Finally, they calmed down and just floated along down the river. She held his hand as they floated around, looking at the sky.
"Thank you." She sighed.
"For what?" He asked.
"For taking me here. It's been a long time since I've been to a place like this." She chuckled, remembering something. He squeezed her hand,
"I love you Jimin."
"Love you too." She mumbled, falling asleep. He laughed and watched her. She was beautiful even when she was sleeping. But he did miss her smile.
He always missed her smile, when she wasn't smiling of course
