Christmas Eve

David, Pierre and I sat on the front porch. We were waiting for Jeff and Chuck to come back from the store.

"What's taking them so long? I want to eat." I whined. David pulled me in his lap and tapped my knee lightly.

"It's Chuck and Jeff. They are going to take forever." Pierre said.

"He does have a point." Seb came out.

"I know. I know."

About 30 minutes later, they came back from the store.

"Why do you take so long?" I asked Jeff as I hopped on his back.

"Sorry, kiddo. Chuck got hung up with an old friend."

"Oh. But, still. No excuse. I'm starving."

"Then eat."

"I told her that we couldn't eat until you guys got back." Pierre told them as we walked in.

"Oh." we sat down at the table and ate our Christmas eve dinner.

"Sky, who do you want to sleep with tonight? Me or Pierre?" David questioned.

"Um. I don't know." I scratched my head.

"You can sleep with both of us." Pierre replied in a joking, but serious, manner.

"Ok." I looked at the time, 10.

"I'm going to bed. So Santa can come." Seb yawned.

"Ok. Goodnight, Sebby." I hugged him, Jeff, and Chuck before going to my room and putting on pajamas. David was standing in my doorway, I went to him.

"Guess what?"

"What?" he held mistletoe above us.

"You gotta kiss me." I rolled my eyes and pulled him to me. Our lips molded perfectly together.

"God, seriously?" Pierre asked. I pulled away.

"He made me."

"How?" David asked in fake shock.

"Mistletoe." I simply said.

"Come on." Pierre groaned. He laid on one side of his bed, David on the other, and me in the middle.

"I love you guys. Merry Christmas." I hugged them.

"We love you too. Merry Christmas." they hugged me and kissed my cheek. I fell asleep, probably the happiest person in the world.
