Alex POV
I decided to finish the painting during our free period so I did.
China came over to me as I was finishing up.
"Hey Alex" "oh hey China. What's up?" I ask cleaning off my hands. "How's it going with you and Fletcher?" "Oh great I made him this. I tell you I really like him" I said cleaning up my art supplies. "That's great" she said with a smile.
"Well I'm going to his house later do you wanna come?" I sighed. I wish I could but I had to hang out with. Him.
"I really wish I could but I can't I'm hanging out with a friend. But if you would could you give this to him from me?" I say handing her the painting "sure" she says. "Thank a lot!" I say hugging her.
Soon he comes. "Ready to go?" Nevil asked with a stupid grin "I geuss" I say hitching my book sack over my shoulder "see ya China thanks for giving Fletcher my painting" "no prob" she's says with a funny look.
China POV
Alex is going over Nevils house?!
This is gonna destroy Fletcher.
I went over to Olive and told her everything.
"What should we do?" I asked.
"I got an idea"

Olive put on a huge smile and handed Fletcher the painting
"Here's a painting Alex did for you! By the way she's at her ex boyfriends Tazmanian Nevils house. Wow look at that glitter" she said pointing at the heart.
"What?!" He yelled.
"Calm down. I doubt there doing anything you can trust Alex" I say not so sure
"It's Tazmanian Nevil were talking about. He will try anything to get her! I've got to do something!" He said trying to get out of his bed.
"Calm down. You can do something tomorrow" I say pulling the covers back over him.
"What should I do China?" He asked looking worried.
"Just stay by her. Show her how much you love her. She will sure choose you over him" I said trying to cheer him up. But he still looked down.
"What could she see in him?" "I don't know maybe she likes him because he's Austrailian" "that's it!" "That's what?" I said curious. "Ill be Austrailian like her. I've heard her accent enough to copy it. And ill have Olive tell me a bunch of boring facts so that I can learn it better" "good luck bro" I say patting his back.
I really hope it works.
Alex's POV
"Yeah I remember that! I made the call and you cought it" I said laughing.
We were talking about how we cought a kangaroo.
"Your call sounded like the mating call it looked at you pretty good" he said laughing. I playfully punched his arm.
We were sitting in his back yard. We were going over memory's. It was nice having someone here that remembers the good times at home.
We breathed finally stopped laughing. "This just proves how much fun we could still have if we were a couple" "Nevil I told you my choice is clear. I think we should stay friends. I love Fletcher. I'm sorry" I say looking down.
"It's ok you might change your mind in the future. But I will accept it for now" "thank you" I say happy with his answer
