chapter 9

Emma's pov
After last night, and after unpacking was tired af. Since I didn't have a bed yet, I had to sleep with Luke in his room. I got up and went to the guest room, it had everything except a bed. I grabbed an outfit (pic of outfit above) and put it on and walked to the bathroom, walked in and Luke was standing there. Naked. Brushing his teeth. "oh my god." I yelled. Luke turned around so his butt was facing ME. Have to say he has a nice butt!! I quickly brushed my teeth and ran to my room. I done my make up and straightened my hair and put my beanie on. I grabbed my bag and walked down stairs. This time Luke was fully dressed. I grabbed a pancake and some bacon and orange juice and ate. Luke on the other hand, got like 30 pieces of bacon, 3 pancakes, 2 pieces of toast, 2 eggs, and 3 hash browns and a glass of orange juice. "damn. And you say I'm fat." I giggle. He didn't seem to find it funny. "Emma, I didn't mean it I've told you that. I'm sorry!!" he said then grabbed his food walked upstairs. Just as he walked out Liz (Luke's mom) walked in. "thank you for breakfast Mrs. Hemmings." I said. "honey please call ME Liz, Mrs. Hemmings makes ME feel old. But your welcome love!!" she says smiling. I nodded and put my plate IN the sink!! I walked upstairs and went to Luke. "Luke I'm sorry I was only kidding." I said looking down. "it's fine. But I didn't find it funny, cause I has being rude, and I didn't know what else to do to tell you..."  he stopped. "tell ME what?" I asked kinda nervous. "TELL YOU THAT I LIKE YOU. NO I don't LIKE YOU I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU EMMA!!" he screamed and jumped up. I flinched and it got him even more mad. I slowly backed away. "Emma I'm sorry please don't be scared of ME." he walked up to ME and hugged ME. I hugged back. "okay let's head to school." he said. "um I'm going to take my car, so your friends don't say anything about us being together!!" I stated. "what? No! Your going to ride with ME.!" he stated matter of factly. "no Luke you can't be seen with a loser like ME. I'll drive myself." "whatever. And your not a loser." I rolled my eyes and ran to my car. "bye Liz. Thanks again!!" I yelled. I got in my car and drove to Starbucks. Got my drink and drove to school.

I got out of my car and the first thing that happens is I get punched in the stomach. I look up and see Ashley. "I told you, you little slut, stay away from Luke or I'll make your year hell. Now I am. Watch your back." then she kicked me 5 times and then picked ME up by my hair and slammed my head in the car door then, everything went black.

I woke up in a white room. "where am I?" I crooked. "in the hospital." a voice said, I opened my eyes wider, and saw an unfamiliar face. "who are you?" I asked. "it's ME." he said. I made a questioned look. "Luke. Do you not remember me?" he asked. I shock my head no. "um okay. Well you have been IN here for almost 2 weeks. You lost a lot of blood. Someone said they say you and called the police, Kyra I think her name was." he stated. I nodded and tried to go back to sleep. Who is that? Who's Kyra? All these things went through my mind. Over and over again.
Luke's pov (2 weeks ago at school)
I just arrived at school, I was kinda late cause mum was telling ME rules cause of Emma being a girl and blahblahblah. I looked around and there was a girl by Emma's car but Emma wasn't there. She looks lime she was crying. I walked over there and I was about to cry at the sight. Emma. Laying on the ground, blood everywhere, stomach with feet prints all over, her hair messes up, blood coming from the back. "wh-what happened?" I asked the girl. "i-i don't know I was walking and I saw her fall to the ground, and then Ashley I think it was kept kicking her, then opened the door and then slammed it shut. Then walked away. I already called the police and ambulance they are on there way. Oh IM Kyra by the way." she said. I just nodded and kept staring at Emma. Finally I walked up to her and picked her up and cradled her in my arms, by this point I WA crying. "g-go to class s-so you d-dont get i-in trouble." I said through my sobs. She nodded and walked away. "my poor baby. Im so sorry. I Love you please be okay." I kept saying. Finally the ambulance showed up. "IM sorry you can't ride with." the man said. "im her boyfriend." I lied but I had to go with. He nodded and I jumped in. "sir can you answer these questions. " he asked. "uh yes sir." "what's her full name?" "Emma Chyanne Parker." " birthday?" "July 14, 2000." "parents name" "her father died and she doesn't live with her Mon she lives with ME and my mom." he nodded. "and who are you and whats your moms name and number?" "I'm Luke Hemmings, my mom is Elizabeth Hemmings, and her number is ###-###-####." "thank you sir." I nodded and whispered "baby please be okay."

Then we arrived at the hospital andthey took her in for surgery.
