Ryder's P.O.V.

What's wrong with me?

I couldn't keep my eyes off Faith to save my life. I'm really surprised I had enough self control not to try anything while we were in the booth together. Or alone in my car.

I had to flirt extra with other girls tonight just to keep my mind off her. And I don't even know her! There's just something about her that intrigues me more than it should. Maybe it's her innocence. You can tell she's never done anything by the way her cheeks light up when you look at her. It's adorable really.

Did I just say adorable? What the hell is wrong with me? I really need to stop thinking about her. But it's like I can't.

All I can think about right now is her long blonde hair. Her big blue eyes. Her smile that could shed light on even the darkest of times.

There's no denying how hot she is or how much I would love to see her panting and moaning from beneath me.

I shift uncomfortably in my seat when I feel how hard I've become from just thinking about her.

Damn it. Now I have to go home and take a cold shower.

Great.

An hour after my shower I lay in bed thinking about the events of today. Mainly the parts that had to deal with Faith.

I've known this girl not even a full twenty-four hours and she's already found a place in my life. And that scares me.

I just need sleep. That will get her off my mind.

But boy was I wrong.

All night I had dreams about her.

Dreams about f.ucking her, dreams about her riding in my car, dreams about her smile.

I barely got any sleep last night and now I look like a wreck because of it.

Who is this girl and why does she have to fill every little space in my mind?

I'm brought out of my thoughts by a knock on my door. I get up, slip on some pants, and make my way to the living room. I open the front door and a small smile makes its way to my face.

"Hey Uncle Bill."

Faith's P.O.V.

"Yes mommy, I know. Ok. Bye, love you too." I say and hang up the phone.

"So what was that about?" Marley asks me from her place on my couch.

It's now around twelve and Marley has been here for about an hour. She said Dean had just dropped her off and she wanted to check up on me after last night.

Last night I barely got any sleep. All night I was dreaming about Ryder. About his eyes, smile, and what he looked like when he was driving.

"It was my mom. She just wanted to make sure I was doing ok so far."

"And how are you doing so far? After last night I mean?" She asks.

How am I feeling? I mean, I'm a little annoyed that I can't stop thinking about the mystery that is Ryder Mitchell but other than that I feel fine.

"Good. How about you?"

She ends up telling me all about her night and morning with Dean which has me blushing like crazy while she just laughs.

"Speaking of Dean, what are yall?" I ask with a genuine smile.

"What do you mean?"

"Are y'all like together or something?"

"Oh! No, we're not." She answers kinda sadly.

"Well it'll happen soon." I reassure her.

"You really think so?"

"Of course! Have you seen the way he looks at you? It's obvious he really really likes you."

"Thank you Faith." She smiles and hugs me.

"You're welcome." I say when she pulls away. She sits back down and I take a seat beside her.

"So what about you and Ryder?" She asks with a smirk.

"What about us?"

"Don't play dumb with me little missy. I saw the way he looked at you last night and the way you looked at him. It was cute." She squeals.

"Thanks but there's nothing going on between us. I don't even know him that well but I do know he's a player."

"Well I can't say I disagree but I've also never seen him look at any girl like that before." She says and a small smile makes its way to my face.

I'm glad to know Ryder looks at me differently from all his other girls but what exactly does that mean?

"Anyways, how's the writing coming along?" She asks to change the subject which I'm thankful for.

"It's ok I guess. I just need to find something to write about. In the meantime I need to get another job to help pay for everything." I say with a groan.

"You could always put on a bathing suit and stand in front of your apartment with a car wash sign." She says and we both break out laughing.

"No thanks. I don't think my parents would approve of that." I laugh.

"Probably not. So what about coming to work with me?" She asks with a big smile upon her face.

"Well that depends. Where do you work?" I ask.

"In this cute little coffee shop a couple blocks from here. We're hiring and I think you'd be perfect!"

"That sounds great actually. Thank you Marley."

"You're welcome. I'll even put in a good word for you." She says as I pull her into a hug.

"If you get the job you'd most likely start Monday. That ok?"

"That's perfect. I'm really glad I met you Marley." I smile.

"I'm really glad I met you too." She says and returns my smile.
