"He's over there!" I spluttered as I pointed to Chresanto who was sleeping peacefully under a tree "He's crazy! He kidnapped me and he made me come with him he said if I didn't he would kill me.." I panted
"Don't worry." The guard said as he patted my shoulder "We're gonna put him somewhere where he can't hurt anybody else."
I nodded pulling the blanket I had wrapped around my shoulders closed more securely against my body, it's been so long since I felt warmth..
another one of the guards trudged towards Chresanto he stuck the long end of his gun into Chres' side chres only flipped over muttering a curse as he repositioned himself to fall asleep
"GET UP!" the guard yelled hitting Chresanto more aggressively
Chresanto shot up at the sound of the male voice "ERIN!" he looked over only to see that the spot where I laid next to him was empty "WH-" he looked up staring directly into the barrel of a gun that was pointed at his forehead he looked past the guard and his eyes fell upon me. his face twisted together "What did you do Erin?"
"Mr. August you need to come with us."
"Erin how could you?" Chres said as he stood to his feet tears welling in the corners of his eyes "You called the guards? how could you betray me like this! What happened to all those plans we were supposed to have what happened to you wanting to get away with me!" his voice grew louder
"I never wanted any of that." I dryly stated "I never even wanted you."
"You're lying."
"Well then why are you getting arrested and I'm not." I hissed
"You B-"
"Baby!"
My eyes shot open, and immediately focused on Chres his eyes were staring into mine and he he held a firm grip on my shoulder
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine why?" I said as I sat up placing my head in my hands but I quickly pulled them away from my face for I felt something strange on my fingertips, it was a clear liquid it resembled water almost my eyebrows furrowed together as I stared at the liquid that rested on my finger tips "Did you pour water on me?"
he shook his head "No?"
"Then what is this?" I touched my forehead again and the liquid still stained my finger tips
"Erin calm down you're just sweating."
"What? Chres am I dying?" My heart beat escalated
he laughed
"Why are you laughing what does this mean?"
"You just overheated that's all calm down its normal. It's just your body's way of trying to cool you down..did you have a bad dream or something?"
I looked at chres and thoughts of my dream immediately poured into my mind however, I shook away the thoughts I didn't want to reminisce on the thought of loosing Chresanto..I couldn't, In Fact turning him in had never crossed my mind so why I would dream about that scenario was a bit bizarre I never wanted to loose Chresanto and I knew for a fact I never wanted to be the one that causes us to loose one another.
