A/N Okay I really need to apologise since I haven't updated in like forever and I'm sorry I'm horrible with commitment and I shall try and work on that.
I guess I need to say a few things about this chapter. I'm Australian so we have Christmas in summer. In school we have recess and lunch. For those who Don't know recess is a 30min snack break. And we only have 5 periods. That are hour long. So basically it goes:

Period 2
Recess
Period 3
Period 4
Lunch
Period 5
Home.

Avi's POV
I walk into school with my head hung low, trying not to look anyone in the eyes. Because I know that the will look at me with pity and disgust written all over their faces. I am a pathetic excuse for a human being. But school will be out soon and I can retreat to the safety of my bedroom for six glorious weeks over the Christmas holidays. It's just the start of Summer and it is already 40°C outside. "Avi!!" My head Jerks up and I panic. But I soon realise who it is. Chloe comes bounding towards me. A grin plastered on her face. It's hard to believe that she self harms as well. She jumps and latches onto my side. " Hi" She whispers in my ear. My how I wish words could describe how much I love this girl. How beautiful she is to me. I wish I could describe how much she means to me. But there will never be appropriate words to describe any of these things because they would be understatements f her divinity. None of that matters any way. Because deep down I know she will never love me the same.
Chloe's POV
As I walk down the hallway of the main building I see Avi walking slowly towards his locker. "Avi!!" I scream out. He looks up with a petrified look on his face. I but wen he sees me he relaxes. I sprint over to him. I jump, then latch onto his side. "Hi" I whisper in his ear. Avi seems to be lost in his mind. "Avi." I say. "Avriel" I giggle. He looks up with a lost look on his face. "The bell is going great to ring soon. We have to go get out stuff. So onward my trusty steed!!" I yell. Avi chuckles as he jogs to our lockers. Pushing people out of the road in the process. "Avriel! No running in the hall!" Mr Wilson call out. " Sorry sir. Is this more appropriate?" He calls back. And skips the rest of the way. We reach the lockers and Avi sets me on my feet. We collect our stuff and head to our separate classes.

Chloe's POV
Finally the bell signalling the end of period 5 rings and we are free to go home. I meet Avi at the lockers as we collect our bags.
As we walk home together Avi suddenly says. "I wanted to cut last night. But I thought of the promise I made you so I didn't."
"Oh Avi! I'm so proud of you. I know you have it in you. I you just have to be strong" I cry out as I hug him. We soon part ways and head off to our homes.
