"Excuse you," he huffed.

Raven knew she had to keep her anger in check but he didn't have to be so cocky.

"Hey man I was looking for you it's not like you to disappear on me," Reid replied walking up to Melton.

Raven wondered if Reid knew why Melton was his right hand man or did they keep him clueless for his protection but it only made him more susceptible to a hit.

Raven walked away but did her best to ease drop from a distance.

He placed his hand on Reid's shoulder and led him down the hall, "We have a problem; we need to go talk in private."

The two of them went to the nearest men's bathroom, once they were in two boys were pushed out. Raven thought this would be the perfect time for Max to work his magic. The two guards stood close to the door to make sure no one entered so Raven quickly ran to her locker and pulled out her cell she gave Max a quick text to do what she knew he did best, she only texted a few simple code words the two of them used this method quite frequently: BATHROOM RULES AS FOLLOWED.

Raven lingered by her locker long enough to see Max come through throwing up on the floor in front of one of the guards who happily let him walk by thinking no harm in it, she thought to herself he will report later. Raven closed her locker and walked on to the next class where she saw Kari.

Raven ran up to catch Kari as she ran in their second hour, "Hey Kari I'm new to this area so I was wondering if you could show me around at the mall today I would greatly appreciate it."

Kari fiddled with her hands a little pondering the question, "I would have to get permission from my dad but if he says so then yeah I would love to."

Raven needed a cover story but she also needed to get the scoop on the latest fashion.

The bell rung and Mrs. Lindsay the English teacher continued her lecture from yesterday, Raven instantly noticed Reid and Melton were late for class; it wasn't until class was 10 minutes in session that they came walking in nonchalantly but Reid did have his head down.

"Nice of you two to join us, Mr. Perkins and Mr. Crew tardy slip please," Mrs. Lindsay held her hand out.

Reid walked in quietly but Melton answered, "Sorry Mrs. Lindsay we don't have one."

She opened up her attendance sheet, "Well that's an unexcused tardy again for you two, one more and detention."

Reid didn't care all about that nor was he listening anyhow.

Lunch approached rapidly and Max was already sitting at the table waiting on Raven she went through the line quickly so no one would sit down before she could get a briefing from Max. She walked over to the table with just a cup of fruit and milk and sat down next to Max "So spill," she whispered.

Max looked around to make sure no one was in ear view, but because the cafeteria was so loud with people talking and eating he was certain no one was paying attention, "Well what I walked in on was Melton telling Reid he needed to bulk up his security, because Intel on a threat came through, then him and Reid got into an argument because Reid insisted on not having all these random people following him around he didn't even want the company anyhow."

That was interesting to Raven as the first thought was he wanted to take over the company, and protected his self at all cost until then, so this made her wonder who was really pulling the strings.

Raven opened up her milk and took a few sips when she noticed Kari standing in the doorway of the lunch room, she tried waving her over but the kids in there were hustling and bustling so Raven was sure she didn't see her .
