I go home at the end of the day, still thinking about Toby. Like, what was he doing all those years? And how did he have the courage to be nice to me after what he did to me? I try to stop thinking of it but, I just can't! His voice, his hair, and those beautiful gray blue eyes... SNAP OUT OF IT BEATRICE!!! He broke your heart and left you forever. I take my mind off of it and walk downstairs when my parents call. "And make sure you look nice! We have company!" My mom yells. Ugghhhhhh. Probably just Marcus, the mayor. My dad works for him and he comes over all the time. So I find a pair of black leggings and an orange high low shirt with no shoulders. I go down there and see Marcus talking to my parents. And there's someone else here... O. M. G. Are you kidding me! It's fucking Toby! WHYYYYYYYYYYYY?! " Tris have you met Tobias before?" My mom asks. "Yes. Yes I have." I say through gritted teeth. He looks at me with a questioning look. Boy I want to smack him sooooooooooooooooo bad. It's like he has no idea what he did to me. Then I realise we have been staring at each other for, like, two minutes and my parents and Marcus are staring at us. "Should we leave you two alone for a second?" My dad asks. "That would be great! We could catch up on some stuff." I say, once again through gritted teeth. "Ok? We will be in the living room if you need us." Mom says. They leave and I look at Toby. "What the HELL!! DID YOU FORGET EVERYTHING YOU DID TO ME!!!" I yell. "No..." He says kind of sad. "Its just, when I act bad you know what Marcus does to me! You were the only one I told!" He says. I stand there not knowing what to say. Then all of a sudden I am running into his arms to cry, just like when we were kids. He acts surprised I did this but then he tightens up the hug. I then realize how stupid it was to be mad at him, how stupid it was not to still be his friend. Or even more...
