"Chelsa wake up" yells my mom. She never gives it a rest, I'm not gonna be late for school. Just because I have good grades doesn't mean I'm a good kid like my siblings. "Chelsa, hurry up I'm gonna be late for work" my mom yells from upstairs.
"Coming." I yell back. I grab my backpack and phone and head upstairs, but get stopped by dork number 1. "Just keep walking." I say to myself, but it's too late.
"Hey Chelsa, did you know that Leonardo Divinci was born in Italy?" Asks my little sister Mardge.
"Yes dorktard." I reply as I run out the door to the bus stop.
"Hey C!"yells my friend Chloe. I ignore her and run straight to my boyfriend Braden, who kisses me as I land in his arms. Finally I reply to Chloe.
"Hey" I say. The bus soon arrives and I have to break away from Braden because we can't sit together, so I sit with Chloe and text Braden all the way to school. When we get there, Terri is at the door waiting for us. " High school had some cons." I tell myself because she's just another dork to me and Braden, but she's my cousin so I'm forced to hang out with her. Braden pulls me right on by her as we head to homeroom together. We both have Mrs Vanderson, she is so mean. She yells at us all the time, but let's us listen to music whenever. But she doesn't care when people like Braden and I makeout in her class, which I like about her. As we wait for announcements to come on, Braden and I make out for what seems like 10 minutes. "Why aren't the announcements on?" I ask Braden while we take a break. After about 15 more minutes they finally come on.
"Goodmorning Lion County High School!" Boomed our principal, Mr Colden,"Today for lunch we are having hot ham and cheese sandwiches with curly fries and crushed pineapple, in other news spirit week is coming up. Now down to the office we need Chelsa Caylen and Braden Hooven. Thank you and have a great day!" As we walk down to the office, Braden and I talk about all the possible reasons of why we were called down to the office. The secretary sees us and rushes us into a conference room then covers all the windows. As soon as she leaves Mr Colden comes in and starts talking, I try blocking him out but it doesn't work. "Now you two are one of the many couples in this school" he says,"So you will be joining some of your classmates for a PDA class. Because you high schoolers tend to not follow this rule. Most of the time in Mrs Vanderson's class. Any questions? Your dismissed" he ends the conversation. We missed half of homeroom.
"Great." I think. By lunch we both are aggravated with our principal. I pull out my phone and and start listening to Buckwild by 2Virgins ft. Taylor Caniff. Braden talks to Kyle, who is going to be joining us for the PDA class with his girlfriend Molli. Chloe sits down and I turn my music off.
She says,"Why did you have
to go to the office this morning." I start to reply but Braden cuts me off.
"Because we use PDA during Mrs Vanderson's class so now we have to take a fucking class about it." We go to our fifth block with Mr Knowles, YAY math! In class we learn about higher money proportions and other algebraic things. By seminar I was extremely pissed off at everybody that said something about the stupid PDA class, great I have that today. At the class couple can't makeout or anything.
"Great this sucks." I say to Braden, I look at all the people in the class, most of them are our friends.
"Hey Kris." Says her boyfriend Jay. They come and sit down by us. Then I see HER walk in, Kennedy Walker with her boyfriend Dustin. We use to be friends until she became little miss popular and cheer captain, can't keep her hands off Dustin for more than 2 seconds.
"Today is the worst day of my life, babe." She whines to Dustin.
He replies, " I know Ken, I know." Dustin cradles her in his arms as she cries. I look at Braden and he just rolls his eyes. Braden and Dustin aren't really friends anymore because of Kennedy and I being mortal enemies. He's over protective of me because he doesn't want me to get hurt. I start to write a note to him as the other cheerleaders and their boyfriends walk in. Aubrey walks by and takes it and hands it to Kennedy. Who glares at me after reading it.
"What's wrong Ken?" I ask her.
"Nothing except for the fact that you think I'm a snobby brat, who is really rich and the cheer captain, well you are so right." She replies with a smirk. I'm almost out of my chair when Braden grabs me and pulls me against him and holds me in his arms trying to calm me down. All he was doing was watching my back so I didn't attack her.
"She makes me so mad." I tell Braden as he walks me to the vending machine to get an energy drink.
