I wake up to the sound of my mom, Jane, yelling at me. "Oh my Gosh I'm going, just shut up!" I yelled back.
"Get up!" it was as if she didn't hear me.
"I am!" I got out of my fuzzy bed. I got dressed, and went downstairs. There was not time for breakfast, so I just grabbed my bag and headed to school. "Crap!" I yelled when I realized that I forgot my jacket.
I walk to and from school, and not having a jacket during winter, in Michigan, is a terrible thing. I decided to keep walking to school because the only person I want to see has already gone to work. My dad is the only one who gets me, and doesn't yell at me at every given second.

I arrive at school to sit next to my friend Ophelia. She is on her phone as usual. "Hey" I said, getting no response. "Hello?"
"Oh! Sawyer, I didn't know you were here" She sounded shocked.
"Yeah sure" I said with doubt.
"I swear you are like a ninja"
"Alri-" Ophelia cut her off.
"Sorry, but I have to go see my bf" Ophelia said.
"Since when have you had" I pause as she left the gym "a boyfriend?"
I sit in silence until Chris, my boyfriend, comes. "Hey babe!" he leans his back towards me and snaps a selfie. "Thanks babe this is going to look great on my insta."
"Do you even know my name?"
"Why do you say that babe?"
"You keep calling me 'babe'"
"Yeah because I don't know my girlfriends name."
"Okay, then what is it?" I asked him.
"You're Ophelia, duh"
"Nope" I said as I popped the P.
"Okay, that was a joke. I know your name is Sawyer. Just wanted to see your reaction" Chris said as he pecked me on the cheek. Then he left to sit with his other friends.
"RING!" the bell rang, and I grabbed my bag an headed to my first class, Science.

The last bell of the day had just rang. I was on my way to my locker when I saw Chris. "Hey" I said.

"No, not that I know of" He gave a sweet smile.
"Wanna hang out at the Fro-Yo Place?"
"Yeah!"
"Okay cool."
"Well, I have to go. See you later babe" he slammed the locker door as he left.

I got up and left the Fro-Yo Place. There were tears building up in my eye. "Don't cry" I whispered to myself "You are better than this."
Right after I said that I started crying waterfalls.
