The Fatal Friendship

Chapter One ~The Escape Plan

I see darkness and feel a horrible stabbing pain in my head. I jolt awake and squint due to the sudden brightness. A tall built man stares down at me with a cold expression. "What is your name, how old are you and why are you here!" The man demands loudly." Mm, my name is Alisha Markham, I am 15 years old and I, I don't know where I am." I reply shyly. The man shouts and men wearing black outfits and holding guns rush in. Then the world goes dark. 

I pace in my cell in enemy headquarters. I would never be here if I would of just listened to Eva. Loud footsteps echo through the hall. A tall, tan women walks to my cell and lets me out. She takes my arm and pulls me down the Hallway. "Um... Where are we going?" I ask the woman confused. She doesn't respond. She takes me into a room marked DO NOT DISTURB. She pushes me inside.  The strange woman says to stay put or there will be consequences. She leaves the room, locks the door and i wait in silence for what seems like forever. Then two muscular men walk into the room and grab my arms. They drag me across the room and throw me roughly onto a metal table. I land hard on my side, feeling the cool metal of the table on my skin. They strap my arms and legs down and leave the room, locking the door behind them. I wish Eva were here. As if she heard my thoughts I hear a loud explosion and Eva busts through the door landing in a crouch. Her deep blue eyes stand out against her black outfit. Eva sprints towards me and unties me from the table. She pulls me up, I stumble a little and she stabilizes me, gripping my arm. Then Xander, Eva's boyfriend walks into the room. "Okay let's go Saro already spotted us coming in here. We need to leave now!" Xander informs us, giving us the signal. Eva hustles out the door, Xander and I follow close behind. Two women in lab coats see us and chase us down the long corridor. Eva sets down a circular object against the wall and tells me to run, run fast! We are almost at the exit and then a loud explosion goes off. The two men that trapped me in the room turn the corner with their stun guns in hand. They smile happy they have us cornered. Xander walks towards them and punches one man in the gut. He stumbles back then shoots Xander in the calf. He groans in pain and collapses to the floor. Eva rushes to his side and i stand staring at the two men that are easily twice my size. I kick one in the side of the head and then I punch him in the side and bolt towards the exit. Eva gets up and starts fighting with one of the men that didn't chase me. He keeps her in a headlock and Eva struggles to get free. The man pursuing me shoots and I get hit in the shoulder. Pain pulses through me and I fall to the floor gripping my shoulder. Eva breaks free from the man and Xander gets up and shoots him twice with the stun gun. Eva runs and jumps on the mans back that shot me. He falls to the ground and Eva places a bomb in his limp hand. Eva takes my hand and we all run out together.
