They were behind me, a man and a woman.
The woman's feet never seemed to touch the ground, I wasn't sure about the man, I did know that he was in the trees, somewhere above me.
Trippingon a root protruding from the ground, I felt a hand on the middle of my back pressing me into to mud. The feeling of something sharp pierced into my arm and that's when everything went dark.

I woke up in clothes that weren't mine, laying on a car seat, my head in the woman's lap while she pet my hair and hummed. I was in incapable of moving anything but my eyes. I could see that the man who had stabbed me was driving, and I was horrified. Thinking only, "This cannot be happening right now!"

It seemed like a lifetime before the car stopped.
The man opened the door for his woman and with incredible strength she gave me to him. He casually walked me to a large wooden front door, my head was jostled from one side to the other while he opened the large door. I started to be able to move my toes again. My mouth hung open awkwardly as though I was a puppet. Looking around, this home was wonderfully furnished making me wonder what awaited upstairs. A large amount of people lounged, drinking a blue liquid, I would later find out that this was what was keeping them alive.

He walked up about two flights of stairs and I counted each step. 26. The woman followed behind us, greeting the people around her. He ventured down the long hallway, I could fully move my feet now, he turned into a room setting me on a wonderfully fluffy bed, the white sheets had tiny bats on them. The canopy above me was beautiful, fluffy, white. It didn't take away from the sense of impending doom, thinking about my family, wondering why they left me there. In those woods. Something told me they were better without me, to not worry about them, they didn't want me. I slowly started to calm. If they don't love me maybe it would be better to die. My whole body was free at this point, the man was gone, and I'd been laying there too afraid to try to get up or try to escape. All was silent aside from the sound of my crying.

A tall and very handsome boy came in and helped me sit up. He handed me a glass of what I thought was water and it wasn't until this point I noticed I was thirstiest as I had ever been. I stupidly drank it. Everything went black again. They drugged me.
