|Jardai's POV|
After everyone went to sleep I stayed up to continue working on my gadget. I think it will soon help us if I can only find the right parts.
|Tanner's POV|
I couldn't sleep because of the noise coming from some garage room thingy so I decided to go take look out with my sniper. After a few minutes passed I noticed a light coming from down the abandoned highway it seemed to get closer "Could it be a car or some truck!?" I said to myself. It was a truck. As it turned off of the highway and onto the road I started to panic because multiple 18 wheelers in front of our base. I saw some people run out of the back of the trucks' trailers. I ran to go wake every one up but then I heard an explosion down stairs close to the girls' rooms. I ran over to Colin and Danny " SOMEONE IS ATTACKING THE BASE !!" I screamed at them both.
"What!?" Danny said
"Danny he clearly said that WE ARE BEING ATTACKED." We hurried out the room.
"Where's Jardai?" I said
"He has been locked up in his lab for four days" Colin replied.
I heard some screams most likely Gracie,Ana,and Josie's.
I saw someone appear from the stairs they had a gun and I tried to shoot him with my sniper but I missed then I heard a loud bang then a wave of pain shot across my ribs I fell to the ground. I was enraged about that and stood up and caused the pain to be even more excruciatingly painful. I didn't fall back down. I pulled my knife out and stabed him in to the neck and pulled it out with all my might.
