Fire up roared in the streets of New York, masses of petrified people ran for their lives, tears streaming down the faces like broken dams gushing water. But unlike a broken dam it can't be fixed, buildings came down on the city like misguided missiles in a war zone. The happiness was blown up, peace slaughtered and the smiles were gone, only things left were the frowns sewn to the faces of all and debris and rubble coating the once beautiful city. The only hope left for humanity were The Avengers and every brave soul from S.H.I.E.L.D guiding civilians to safety, rescuing them or helping The Avenger's fight against Ultron.

"The age of Ultron is upon you pathetic humans, why can't you just accept that individuality is the reason why you humans fight one another?" Laughed the psychotic robot. "Just accept that your fight for this race is-!"

Tony screamed a scream that no one had ever heard before it was full of shear fear, pain, betrayal and pure anger. He tackled the machine to the ground, raised his metal fist and with all force punched him over and over yelling, SHUT UP!, JUST SHUT UP! AND BRING BACK ARSENAL!, YOU PILE OF SCRAP METAL!" Tears flooded Tony's eyes as he kept punching, every hit sending his emotions over the edge. The broken man shook Ultron violently then finally lifting him and smashed to the ground and continued the brutal, brutal assault. Everyone stopped what they were doing and watched as the Tony Stark beating up the most powerful villain they have ever faced in all their years being on the team. Even Nicholas Fury himself watched as this smart man become barbaric.

Tony finally collapsed onto Ultron and all was silent, the robot smoothly moved its head to faced Ironman, "and in my Utopia exhaustion will be destroyed just like emotion!" Ultron rapidly got up while holding Ironman by the throat, "since you have finished the beating its time to return the favour, tell Howard...Ultron lives on!"

One bye one pieces of Tony's armor pinged off until he was only left with his chest plate, left boot and faceplate, everything else gone. He threw the armorless man to the ground as if he was just a ragdoll. A crunching sound emanated from Tony's body as he was slammed to the broken road after that he was limp not even a scream of pain came from him, just tears and a look of death written all over his body. Ultron hovered over Tony's body and if he could smile he would have the biggest smile there would be.

"How boring, you humans die so easily no wonder you reproduce like rats."

Everyone stood in silence and shock...Ironman was defeated and thrown like garbage, guilt of took their souls, the man that brought them together, the man that gave them a home...the man that called them family even the brute Hulk, was gone.

"Broken bottles...in the hotel lobby..."

Everyone turned their heads to the sound and it was Clint

"We were told...to not believe in petty things." Then Steven joined

"Use two singing a petty song how ignorant!, can't you see you all are going to die!?" Yelled Ultron.

Soon afterwards the whole team joined in and ran towards the robot, "BECAUSE WE'VE GOT HIGH HOPES AND EVEN IF TAKES US BACK TO WHERE IT ALL STARTED!!" Just as if they were one being, they slammed the piece of junk to the ground with all their force. A loud bang emanated from the slam causing a ringing sound in everyone's ears, then, it was silent.

"Is it over?" Wondered Natasha

As the smoke cleared the robot was gone, not a trace was left except a small holo-message.

" You Avengers are a mighty foe, I might not have succeeded now but that won't stop me. I will return, I will bring armed forces and I will win!, but for now...."

The message began to glitch, but it was actually Ultron. The figure twitched and sparked until his red evil light turned blue. It was Arsenal, "Avengers, tell Anthony to not save me but save the world, his father programmed me to be his best friend and guardian when he couldn't. So now I'm leaving with Ultron who will soon override my circuits and go to somewhere secluded. I know it isn't a good plan but I want to protect Tony just like father always wanted..."

The robot began to twitch again, sparks practically were everywhere, and now the once docile blue light faded to the blood red it was made for. Screaming coming from the metal beast was the only thing heard in the last few seconds of the message then, blank.

"I guess we won?" Smiled Bruce trying to lift up their spirits.

"It is for now.." began Steven. "But at what cost?, buildings destroyed, many innocent people didn't make it in time to get to safety and most of all we have lost a noble man in our ranks today..." his voice trailed off and his sadness choked him. The once almighty Captain America fell to his knees, in his mind Tony was gone, the one last person that was a support beam in his already crumbling world. He finally gave into and screamed at the sky, but to him it felt like there no sound. Tony the first person in this new age that called this hero lost in time his friend, but most of all to Steven, Tony was the first person in this new age that he had deep emotion for, he loved the Anthony Edward Stark with all his heart. But sadly now he is gone, with the angels now building like there is no tomorrow. "Maybe Anthony is in the afterlife's lab building something for the angels to use?" He laughed dimly. Steve got up from the cold broken road and slowly walked over towards Tony's lifeless corpse, he got on his knees and gently brushed his hand against Tony's cheek to wipe away the tears that was on his face. "Sleep now soldier, your mission is done you have reached your objective, you can rest now its what you will be doing a lot now..."

The area fell silence shield agents that were still in the area walked over and cried, they all mourned the loss of a great man today that now is probably in a fancy lounge enjoying a shit of whiskey with agent Coulson catching up with each other. Most of all Tony is finally sharing memories with his father building together, laughing and most of all spending time together, real time, something he couldn't accomplish in this world but now maybe in the next.

"Well everyone...let-let's go...Avengers Assemble..." demanded Steve trying to hold back his tears.

"Yes sir..." they all replied in unison.

"Shield agents go back to Fury, he needs a shoulder to cry on as well."

The agents nodded and left, "Cap what do we do next?" Questioned Natasha.

"We fight on, its something that Tony would of wanted." The team walked away from the rubble with the lifeless man being carried by Thor who he himself couldn't stand it, a brave warrior gone in a flash. Even though Tony was never worthy for Miljnor and he would never let anyone even touch the weapon he placed the hammer in Tony's hand and for the first time in Asgardian history a mortal was finally worthy of wielding such a weapon of brute force and legend. This moment happened for the first and last time.
