Reality After Reality

         Last summer, my mom sent me to my grandmother's farm to spend my vacations. The farm is located on the north of New Zealand, where more villages than cities can be found. I was looking forward to spend my vacations in front of my computer, but my mom didn't. Since I live closer to the south, I had to take a long trip on bus. Half of the way I went asleep, so I don't remember much of the view. I was expecting a long and boring vacations that year. Nothing could change my mind.
         When i arrived to the bus station, i could feel the climate difference. The village which the bus arrived to, was located in a mountain. It was really chilly for summer. Thanks God, i packed warm clothes. I looked around the bus station to see if i could find my grandmother, but she was nowhere to be found. I sat down and waited. Maybe she was on her way. I waited for two hours until i got a phone call from my mom.
        "Thanks goodness you called, mom," I said pretty irritated, "I've been waiting for two hours and grandma hasn't come yet."
         "Yeah, about that, your grandma can't come pick you up," She said, "You have to go to the farm by yourself."
          "Mom! You should have called me earlier," I responded really mad. "I would not be waiting here. I would be on my way up to the farm."
           "Sorry Gem, your grandma just recently called me," She replied. She seemed pretty sad about the incident, but i was too mad in the moment. "I'll send you a message with the address, so you can make your way up to the farm."
            We said our goodbyes and hung up. Even though i told my mom i could handle the situation, i was completely lost. I've only been to my grandmother's farm a few times when i was younger, and we always went by car.
