*Days passed
I didn’t hear from him.
He doesn’t text.
I don’t see him in school either.
I wonder how he is doing.
I went to visit him at his house.
But he wasn’t there.
I miss my best friend.
I miss Ivan so bad.
The man whom I secretly love.
*Until one day.
“What’s happening to you, Ivan?” I shout at him.
“Why?
Nothing.” He answer.
“There’s something you’re hiding from me.” I said to him.
“What do I have to say to you?” He asked me like nothing.
“Why you don’t go to school anymore?
Why you don’t talk to me anymore?
Why you don’t reply to my messages?” I also asked him.
“Ivan, what is really happening to you?” I ask him like I’m worried.
“Why do you care so much about my life?
What are you to me?!” Ivan replied.
I was silenced by what he said.
Who am I to him?
I’m just his best friend.
Just that. Nothing more.
He left and never showed himself to me anymore.
I didn’t text him.
I never visited him at his house either.
*Two weeks passed
When I got the news.
Ivan is in the hospital.
In grave condition.
“Ivan, I love you so much.” I said to him while I'm crying beside him.
Ivan’s cousin handed me Ivan’s cellphone.

Brod, don’t you dare come near to my best friend.
I did what you asked me to, right?
I stayed away.
Just please do not hurt Princess.
