I woke up, and sighed. Today was the day I had to go home. School was starting up next week. Senior year. Oh joy.

I went into the kitchen, where Justin was sitting, eating a bowl of Captin' Crunch. I took a seat across from him, and gave him a nervous smile.

"Todays the day, isn't it?" he asked. I nodded. His smile faded. "What if I told you I didn't want you going?"

"I'm sure my mom will win that battle." I said, standing. I gave him a kiss on the cheek before going into the bathroom to change. It was a six hour drive towards Mississippi. I planned on leaving that morning so I could go pick up my schedule.

Justin helped me load up my car, which I forgot I had brought with me to Atlanta.

After loading the car up, we walked back into the apartment, so I could say goodbye to Justin's mom.

She gave me a big hug, and I hugged her back, a big smile spread across my face.

"It was a pleasure having you here." she said when we seperated. I laughed.

"I loved being here." I said, "I'd rather stay here than go back to school."

"Aww.." Justin's mom said. "One more year of high school!" I nodded. "I'll be there for graduation." I laughed.

"I'll have my parents save you a spot." I gave her a playful wink, and she laughed.

"See you around, Lynn." she said, waving goodbye as Justin took me outside to my car. We stood infront of my white saturn.

He sighed. "I guess this is goodbye?" he asked, his hands tucked into his pants pockets.

"It doesn't have to be." I said, smiling. "I'll be back."

He smiled. "I'll be looking forward to that." I took a few steps towards him, and placed my lips against his.

I didnt mean for it to be so long, but soon we were leaning into each other, hands trailing through each others hair.

We pulled back for air, and I smiled.

"I love you." I said. I knew it was probably still way to early to say that, but I felt like saying something, and that was the first thing that popped into mind.

Justin smiled. "I love you too." he pressed his lips against mine once more before taking a step away from me, allowing me to get into my car and pull out of my parking spot.

He walked over, and leaned down in my window that was rolled down.

"Call me when you stop for lunch." he said.

"You got it." I answered, and he kissed me again before allowing me to drive away from the apartments, and towards the highway.

Back home.

I watched her car disappear down a corner. I stood in that one spot for a while, a part of me wishing that she would turn around and come back.

But I knew good and well that wasn't gonna happen. She had school to attend, and I didn't want to be in the way of her future.

Well...thats what my mom told me the night before, and I knew that's exactly something I didn't want to do.

I finally walked back into the apartment, and sat down on the couch. The place was quiet. My mom was in the back, taking a shower I guess. I heard the shower on.
