"Look!" I point "rossir's cage!"

Quin grins, then starts in a sprint, my weakness. A try to run after him, but my pajama pant leg gets stuck on a thorn bush and I fall to my face. Quin looks back and laughs wildly.

"Shut up" I yell back jokingly.

Quin stares at the wild creature. It has become almost ghostlike. His soul probably drifting to take over my own.

I look at the tiny fury creature as well. And suddenly it becomes invisible and a flash of my own body stands in its place. I look like how I did when I saw soul catcher for the first time, small and gray with pale lips. As if hidden by a gray curtain. A take in all of this information with a jolt and I fall over backwards, I have fainted.

I awake in Quin's strong grip, laying in his lap. He brushes away a wisp of hair from my face.

"Are you okay, Torra?" He whispers

I am about to reply when I see sheq out of the corner of my eye. She is dumbfounded. She is mad.

"LAY OFF!" I shout "YOU AND MADS HAVE BEEN SNOOPIN AROUND, AND IM SICK AND TIRED OF IT!" I yell. I regret snapping at her, but it feels good to finally get a yell out. This is not me. I do not like to yell. I go with the flow. I never get mad at anyone but Ideana.

"Now that we are all here, and ditched class, let's solve the mystery." Quin says. He lifts me up to my feet and brushes the leaves from my back. Sheq steps closer and smirks. She knows she are cute together, she just doesn't want to admit it.

"What mystery?" Sheq asks innocently.

Quin raises an eyebrow, "you didn't tell your best friend about soul catcher?"

"We're not best friends" Sheq butts in. "Just acquaintances, now just tell me what the freaking problem is." Sheq glares at me.

I am not hurt, surprisingly about what she said about not being friends. I just feel the same way about her.

"You know the fury creature we found in the woods the other day?" I say to Sheq, trying to be at least a little kind. I used to always be kind, and if we can get this soul catcher out of my soul, the last thing I want is to be hanging from a friendship nuse.

"Yeah" she replies bluntly, she refuses to look at my face, she is staring down at my shoes.

"It is a soul catcher, or a soutcher, it takes away your soul, basically."

"Duh" she says, "it's in the fricken name"

"Yeah Soo.. We need to  get it out of her soul, asap, my grandpa said that anything can happen after 11 days of having a soutcher in your soul." Quin says.

I start to quiver. Oh, no. I'm not going to faint again, I tell myself. But instead I suddenly get really angry. I start charging at Sheq, who spins at the last second. I turn around and smack her down. She is  screaming as I jump on top of her and start pounding my fists into her skin. Quin is shouting at me, and he try's to pull me off of Sheq, but I kick him out of the way. This is the last thing I remember before I blacked out, I think Quin socked me in the head.
