Its been a week since everything happened and Its been stressful at the least.

Visiting the hospital everyday was heartbreaking and emotional. Of course my work had given me a few  days off for this reason. Her mum wasn't getting  worse which is always a good thing but she wasn't improving either. I know that It has  been a really hard week for Saf but she's being strong.

She has been staying with me in my guest room, she isn't her happy, chatty self but who can blame her.

I tiredly drag myself to the kitchen walking past Saf who's sitting on the couch staring outside at nothing to specific.

'i have to go back to work today. 12pm. I'm going to go and get stuff at the shop. Want anything?'  I ask, whilst pondering around the kitchen making tea for her.

She stays silent and doesn't answer my question so I just sit her tea on a coaster that lay on the table infront of her.

I walk slowly to the door looking down on my outfit that I flung together. A pair of black ripped jeans and a white belly top under a red addidas jumper that is fastened and covering any skin showing on my Arms and stomach.

'i'll be back in 30 minutes' I whisper, wrapping my hand around the door handle and yanking it open.

Once I arrive to the shop I search through the isles searching for food but lets be honest here, I'm the kind of person who gets easily distracted. I find myself at least 10 isles away from the food section and 5 isles down the clothes section. What can I say.. *shrugs*

I spot a black lacey dress that would look absolutely stunning on Saf. Without thinking I grab the dress and run to the food section before I end up buying every single piece of clothing there.

Once I arrive home I run through the door causing Saf to jump.

'sorry' I apologise giving her a small smile.

She gives a brief smile in return.
'so why the excitement?' She raises her eyebrow.

'Well when I was out shopping I spotted this beautiful dress. It's a black lace dress that sits just just on top of your knee' I say a smile evident on my face.
I open the bag to take the dress out to show her. I hold the dress up with my hands when all of a sudden she starts crying.

'Saf?! What's wrong? You don't like it? I can always return it to the sh-' I say but I'm then interrupted by her lppppp me into a massive hug.
At first I was utterly confused but I wrap my hands around her returning one too.
'i love it! Thank you' she whispers.

11:45pm I arrive at work and run through the back sticking on my apron and registering in.

'Hey how's  Saf?' My other friend Tia asks.

'she's.. Getting there I suppose.' I say with a frown.

I hated seeing Saf In such a state.

'send her my love, ye?' She says sympathetically.

I nod and walk over to a mini table handing a tray with 2 coffees in small white cups over to the woman sitting there with her friend.

After 3 hours I take a Break and go out the back to sit on one of the wooden benches that were on the far end of the garden.

Exhausted, I let out a large breathe and sit down slowly grabbing my phone from my black handbag To  text Saf.

After checking up on her I was shortly called back inside to the tills to take peoples orders. For working 6 hours a day, 20 minutes was not a long enough break.
