Chapter 1
Britney’s POV
“Kate hurry up, we are going to be late!!!!! You’re my best friend and all but I will leave without you.” Kate and I have been best friends for 5 years ever since year 3 and we are now in year 8, but honestly if she doesn’t hurry up then we will be late and I do not want to miss the start of the concert. “I’m almost done Brit; don’t get your nickers in a twist!”
“Well if you aren’t done within the next 2 minutes then I will leave for the train by myself and you’ll have to catch the later train and you’ll miss the start.”
“No, you wouldn’t leave by yourself” she didn’t believe me so I started walking towards the door saying stuff like ‘I’m leaving now’, and ‘Good bye, I’ll see you in intermission’. I heard her rushing and suddenly the bathroom door flung open and there stood my slightly pissed best friend in her denim blue mini shorts, her pink and white stripped tank top, her Fluoro pink vans and her face covered with makeup. Wow she could look like such a… I don’t even have a word for it. “You happy now? I was going to braid my hair but no, I have the just wear it down now." Oh my god she is a drama queen. She went to walk past me but I smothered her with a hugged. “Britney Annabel Rose. Get off me right now or I will….” “You will what?” “……. I will make you get changed into a dress and wear makeup!” oh no, she knows I hate to wear makeup and dresses (which is kind of weird cause other than that I am such a girly girl)!! “You wouldn’t” she was smiling evilly, she was so proud of what she had thought of that she didn’t notice that I had completely let go of her and had started to bolt for the door. “Britney get your skinny little ass back here right now!” I heard her scream and starting to run after me. “NEVER!!!!!!!” My neighbours that are listening probably think that we are crazy.
After a while we started to slow down as we were getting out of breath and we were nearing the train station. I turned around to tell Kate that we should probably stop, so that people don’t think we are irresponsible, and she wasn’t there. I started to freak out and was screaming out her name, when suddenly I heard a very… weird, but familiar, voice from behind me. I turned around (mostly in shock at the weird voice) to see Kate standing with her finger to her top lip pretending it was a moustache. “Madam, you should probably go and get on your train that just arrived.” She said in a really bad ‘man voice’, it probably also didn’t help that she was trying her hardest not to fall on her ass laughing. “Oh Katie, You’re an idiot.” Really that was the truth. Then we walked over to the train and hopped on starting to get really excited about finally getting to go and see the famous boy band, One Direction, who we have both loved ever since their first performance on the Xfactor in 2011.
