Enid was walking over to Ron's house to get a refill on bullets and to spend time with him. As Enid walks Carl see's her from across the road. He feels like he should walk up to her and say something but realizes she's going to Ron's.
Carl was so thankful for Enid. He was thankful for the simplicity of her existence. The simplicity of the way her hair flowed when she walked, the way her boots would click when she ran. Carl was simply in love with her simplicity.
"Ron?" Enid entered through the doors and the house was to quiet.
"Ron, it's me!" She was getting worried. A pan fell and in that moment she sensed a hand and a gun too close to her. Carl was secretly on the front porch watching for Enid because Ron was acting strange lately.
Ron jumped out from behind the corner with the gun right across Enid's face. Carl got his gun out in the moment but didn't shoot. He was scared as what Enid would think.
"Ron stop! It's me!!" Enid blocked her face. Ron's hand was shaking and his eyes had veins popping out into your face. Enid slowly took her empty gun out of her pocket and put it on the ground. Carl was ready to shoot at any moment.
"Enid?" whispered Ron. He dropped his gun.
"Didn't you hear me calling for you?" Enid said as she picked her gun back up.
"Did you even sleep? Ron, whats happening?" Enid walked slowly to Ron to comfort him.
"I... don't even know anymore. I feel like I can't even tell the difference between a human and a walker."

I should've shot right when Ron came around the corner.
I should've.
Enid took Ron's hand and they sat on the couch and talked. I tried to listen but it was impossible to hear. I only got bits on their conversation. It was about how Enid wanted for Ron to start sneaking out with him.
I hate when Enid sneaks out. Dad always watches over me so I can never sneak out with Enid to make sure she is safe. It bothers me. A lot.
I walked off the porch to do something. I didn't know what. I hated the thought of Ron and Enid in a room. Ron was my best friend. Then things changed. He changed. This whole walker thing was really getting to him. He stopped talking to everybody.

"Ron, I want you to start sneaking out with me. I think it will really help you." Ron looked up through my soul.
"What do you do when you... 'sneak out.'"
"Everything! Ron it is amazing. You feel so free and open!"
