This is a story about a friend and how her life went...
September 28th seemed like a normal school day amber(not her real name for protection) was just leaving school on the bus with her friends that afternoon.she was laughing playing and smiling just like a normal 13 year old would. But on her route home her bus was stopped at a stop light when a tractor trailer carrier rear-ended her school bus causing the bus to go up in flames all because he was txting and driving and didnt see the bus stopped, from the way the tractor trailer hit the bus it caused amber to be trapped between the seats of the bus and she couldnt get out. Several people driving by stopped to help and even climbed on the bus to get her from the burning bus but there was no way to get her out. When the fire was finally put out the firefighters searched the bus and only found her ID card for her school but there was no sign of life for amber all the students left the bus with small burns to no harm except for amber.. When ambers mother finally arrived a group of ambers crying friends ran up to her mom and gave her a huge hug and then ambers mom knew exactly why they were crying. Ambers mom ran up to the bus and saw her dead daughter just being pulled off the bus into the ambulance while ambers mom burst into tears.
Since then her mother has never forgotten her daughter and the driver was arrested for vehicular man slaughter and put in jail for 1year while the mother thinks he should have been in jail for 13 years 3 months and 18 days because thats how old amber was. Ambers mom is now working with government groups and support groups to make it a law against txting and driving.
