Indie's POV
I was once again walking to school. I never really took the bus 'cause everyone always ignore me. This started happening ever since my parents died.
Anyway, I kept walking until the school came into view. I saw a lot of people with their friends, some with their squad and some are couples.
I know I should get used to this but it just hurts to see everyone ignore you because you have no parents. I can't help it. I started running with tears streaming down my face.
I ran and ran, not knowing where I was going until I bumped into a chest. I fell to the ground because of the impact.
I started getting up but then I saw a hand in front of my face. Confused, I took it and the person helped me up.
I looked at the person to see it was a guy. I have never seen this guy before.
'Must be a transferee,' I thought
I mumbled a thank you and started walking away with my head down. He grabbed my wrist but I just tugged it away and kept walking.
I was a good distance away from him. And the next thing I knew, I heard shouting. Like someone is calling a name. I just simply ignored it, knowing that the person is not calling me.
But the most unexpected happened..... Someone tapped my shoulders. I turned to the persons direction but kept my head down.
"What do you want?" I asked in a monotone voice.
"I just want to say.... I'm sorry," He said out of breath.
I was shocked. No one has ever done this to me.
"It's okay...." I replied, almost in a whisper.
It was an awkward silent. No one talked.
"You wanna hang out sometime?" He asked out of nowhere.
My head shot up and I looked at him wide eyed. I was, once again, surprised.
"Sure," I said unwillingly.
My eyes widen more as I comprehend what I just said. I was about to say that I changed my mind and that I was busy. But it was too late.
He is already walking away after giving me a warm smile.
I just stood there, thinking about the boy until I was brought out of my thoughts by the first bell.
I pushed the thoughts away and ran to my classroom. I usually sit at the back where no one mostly sits except for some loners like me and Ariel. But I heard that Ariel is in a relationship with Fred from some gossipers.

BRIIIIIIIING!
Well there goes the bell. I started packing up my things as the other students started leaving the classroom.
I stayed a little, just to be sure that no one is around anymore. After I confirmed that I was alone. I started heading out of the classroom.
And no I'm not going to the cafeteria. I'm going to the back court and stay at the shade of the trees.
I wasn't really expecting anyone. Until I bumped into a chest.
I looked up to see that guy from before. He offered me his hand, which I took, and puled me to my feet.
"I'm sorry.....umm... I never really got the chance to introduce myself. My name is Brian," he said as he extended his hand.
