Chapter 3: The Noise

Sky quickly shoved him and Barney behind a table in a darker part of the room.
"What's goings on?" Barney said quietly.
"Oh shit..." Sky said looking across the room seeing the amulet. He quickly ran across the room, blowing out the candle on accident and grabbing the amulet as there was a knock on the door. They stayed quiet. Sky quickly but silently ran back across as the door opened a bit but stopped because of the door chain. Barney sat there frozen in fear with a wide eye seeing what tried to come in, searching to unlock the chains. It was a squids tentacle. Sky quickly put the amulet on and opened a trap door on the floor.
"Get in!" Sky said quickly yelling. As Barney started his way in he saw the squid unlock the door and slowly yet quickly come in. Barney quickly went in and moved out of the way for Sky. As Barney got down Sky looked at the squid and quickly ran to his sword and cut it in half. As there was blood everywhere, Sky quickly ran to the trap door and went down. After Sky closed the door they started running down a long dark tunnel with only the lights of candles.
"What...is....this?" Barney asked gasping once in a while. Sky started to slow down and stopped.
"Ok I think we're fine...." Sky said taking a seat on the dirt floor.
"What is this?!?" Barney asked for the second time. Sky gave a pity laugh.
