"And cheers to Naruto! Who, at the age of twenty-two, is the youngest Hokage in history!" A loud, drunken cheer was heard from the table in the middle of Ramen Ichiraku. Around the table was a large assortment of ninjas, but the one standing up and the one at the head of the table were the ones who caught my attention. The one standing up was raising his glass, him being the one who had just given his toast. He had spiky black hair and you could tell that if he was sober even in the slightest, he would be exuding an aura of suavity and distance. He was wearing a casual, pale lavender button-down with the top two buttons undone, over a pair of black slacks. He was standing next to the guy seated at the head of the table, who was a scruffy, impish looking blonde with whisker marks on his cheeks and the honorable Hokage's headdress resting askew upon his mop of hair that looked like this guys had spent a lot of time trying to make it look like he had spent zero time on it. He was laughing, the aforementioned black-haired guy slinging his arm across his shoulders. He looked up, and his sky-blue eyes met my deep grey ones across the room to where I was sitting at the bar. He whispered something to his black-haired friend and nodded over at me. The black-haired guy said something to him, and although my lip-reading skills are a little rusty it was either 'go for it' or 'who farted?'
The blonde stood up from his place at the table and drunkenly sauntered his way over to where I was, encouraged by a chorus of drunken cheers and giggles.
"Hi there." He began, his sly grin indicating perfectly that not only was this guy charming, but he knew he was. "My name's Naruto Uzumaki. You, uh, might know who I am, I guess." he said as he gestured to the Hokage headdress that was miraculously still balanced atop his head. I mentally rolled my eyes. Of course I knew who this guy was. Underdog outcast of the village turned Hokage? Everyone knew who Naruto was. I was among the sea of people earlier this afternon that watched Naruto get appointed as Hokage. I had heard his heartwarming, albeit a little intense, speech. And I had watched him, with tears in his eyes, embrace his team-members on stage. There wasn't a person within a twenty-kilometer-radius that couldn't tell you who Naruto Uzumaki was.
"Sorry," I answered, mirroring his cocky expression, "I don't really follow politics." he raised his eyebrows, taken aback by the brevity of my sarcasm. Then he chuckled, scratched the back of his neck, and sat down on the bar stool beside me.
"Can I buy you a drink?"

My back was up against the wall of Naruto's apartment, my fingers running through his blonde hair as his lips moved ferociously against mine. His hand moved down to my hips and hoisted me up, my legs automatically curling around him as he carried me a short distance across the room and set me down so my butt was resting on the table in his kitchen, my legs still wrapped around his torso. I pulled apart to catch my breath and idly glanced down at the table, noticing that the latest issue of Kunoichi Monthly was strewn across the table.
"Kunoichi Monthly? Seriously?" I asked breathlessly. "The future leader of the Hidden Leaf Village reads Kunoichi Monthly?"
"Shut up," He muttered, kissing my neck in between words. "I read it for the articles."
"Uh-huh." At this given moment, I was focusing on anything other than his lips softly sucking on my neck. "And I'm sleeping with you for your intelligence."
"Hey what's that supposed to mean?" He asked, with mock hurt in his eyes. I rolled my eyes and planted my lips on his, effectively shutting him up. He picked me up once again and carried me into his bedroom.

I yawned as my eyes fluttered open, the gross feeling of day-old makeup caked around my eyelids. The sun streamed in through a window, and birds were chirping joyously. Naruto's arm was casually slung over my body, him still fast asleep. I wasn't really sure what this was, so I treated it as a one-night stand and slowly inched out of bed, my toes finally touching the cold hardwood flooring. I puttered quietly around the room, gathering my things. I pulled on my outfit, which consisted of a black lacy crop-top over a black mini-skirt, and strapped my twin tantō daggers to my thighs. As I was about to step out of the door, my heart did a little jump, and, the foolishly hopeful side of me picked up a sharpie and wrote my number on a little post-it note. After a moment's hesitation, I drew a little heart beside it. Hopefully he'll give me a call. I really don't want this to be just a one-night stand.
I slid out the door and into the blinding light of late morning. I shuddered. I definitely has way too much to drink last night, and now I was paying for it. I almost got away from the building before I bumped into two of my friends from the ninja academy.
"Oh my God! Nai?" Ino squealed, her blonde ponytail was equally annoyingly perky as her voice and her tits.
"Oh, hey Ino..." I muttered, knowing what was going to come next. "Hi Sakura." I nodded towards her pink-haired companion, who was stifling giggles, and failing at keeping a straight face.
"Nai, are you leaving... Naruto's apartment?" Sakura asked, her tone wavering rapidly as she punctuated her every word with a small, high-pitched laugh.
"Naitori. Koboyashi. Did you sleep with Naruto?!" Ino said, reiterating the question Sakura had so delicately phrased.
"I mean, yeah, maybe, I guess, I don't know, It's a possibility." I mumbled, my words trailing off as Ino and Sakura's eyes got brighter.
"This is the best thing since Neji and Ten-Ten got engaged!" Ino exclaimed.
"Even better," Sakura chimed in "this is better than when Sasuke and Naruto kissed in like, first year of ninja academy!"
"Look, I better go to ANBU headquarters, I need a mission for this weekend."
"Okay whatever, but we totally need to hang out more, girl!" I nodded and waved, and the pair walked off giggling like we were back in school. After a short walk through town I made it to the ANBU headquarters building. After I got in I was surprised to see a large crowd milling about. I found my way over to Kiba and playfully punched his arm.
"Kiba, brother, what's going on?" I asked him, gesturing around us at the swarm of people.
"The Hokage is assigning a new captain of ANBU since the last one... uh, stepped down." I nodded gravely, remembering the mission I had taken with Kiba, the captain, and a few other ANBU. The mission was a failure, and the captain ended up paying the ultimate price for the rest of the team's mistakes. Footsteps echoed around the room as a tall, imposing figure walked across the raised platform at the eastern end of the room.
"Hello everyone, my name is Sasuke Uchiha, and I'm your new commanding officer. First rule, no loud noises, at least not today, I have a wicked hangover." He flashed a grin that came out as more of a grimace, due to the obvious pounding that was going on inside of his skull. "Second rule, no fireball in the office. You can bring other alcohol, just not fireball. I have no respect for people who drink fireball. Lastly, if you're female, and under the age of twenty-five, come speak to me, uh, personally." A few chuckles made their way around the room, and I rolled my eyes. Just like Sasuke Uchiha, the play-boy best friend to the honorable Naruto Uzumaki. He hopped off down the platform and everyone began milling about once more a few people leaving the office now that the announcement had been made. I walked up to Sasuke.
"Captain Uchiha, I'd like to request an assassination mission for this coming up weekend." He raised an eyebrow at me.
"You're the top assassin on the squad, right? Why are you specifically requesting a mission? On a weekend, no less." I shrugged, tucked and un-tucked my hair behind one of my ears and muttered;
"My parents are in town." He laughed out loud.
"That's fair enough." He turned to one of the metal cabinets labelled 'Open' and pulled out a folder. "Here you go." He said, handing it to me. He paused, then looked me up and down. "Say, do I know you from somewhere?" He asked. I groaned internally, waiting for him to place me. "Hey, the girl from the bar last night, right? You left with Naruto." He laughed, obviously proud that he was able to recognize me even though he was incredibly drunk when he saw me last night. "Damn, Naruto's lucky." He whistled lowly. "Hey if you're done with him, hit me up." I laughed and politely declined before ducking out of the office, the folder tucked under one arm. What Sasuke said stuck with me though. Was I done with Naruto? Or, more importantly, was Naruto done with me? I honestly had no idea.
