"Come on Kara one more push!"
"I can't do it!!"
"Yes you can!! Push!"
One moment later a baby girl was born. That girl was me. Katie Lynn Mottz. I am now fourteen years old and still in search for the man I can call mine.
In this world we have to be married by Fifteen. I turned fourteen three months ago. nine months to go or I'm not allowed to marry. When I was born I was given a necklace of a half heart with a symbol of a female on it. This can only mean the man for me has the same thing but with a male symbol. Everyone's necklace is different. However, they all have the same purpose and meaning. When you and someone of the opposite sex have necklaces that fit together and solve a puzzle, your search is over. No heart brakes, no cheating, no divorce. Just happy ever after. On the other hand if you don't find your mate (or the right one for that matter) by your fifteenth birthday, your life will be pure hell. You have to get rid of your necklace and live on your own. No family to raise or anything. If I'm finding my other half Id better start being serious...I only have nine months...or else.
