Chapter 12

Aisha's POV

"So how was your date?" Tatiana asked

"It was so great, his daughter Kelsey is the sweetest little thing ever. Her and I really get along" I said

"See, I told you going on a date with Liam wouldn't be so bad" she said

"Yeah you're right"

As we walked down the hallway, the paramedics were rushing to get a small child into a room. I quickly followed them.

"This room is open!" I announced opening the door

"What happened?" I asked preparing myself for the worst

"Allergic reaction." they said

"To what?" I looked over at the patient and my eyes widened

"Kelsey!" I exclaimed

"You know the patient?" a nurse asked

"She's my boyfriends daughter" I made my way to the front and examined her quickly

"She's allergic to peanuts. Someone must have given her peanuts" I set her up to an IV quickly.

"Did she come here with a bag or something?" I asked sitting her up

"Yes I have it!" a nurse said

I grabbed it emptying its contents onto the nearby table and pulled out her Epipen.

"Kelsey sweetie just look at me alright" I said and she nodded still wheezing

I held her hand and stared at her sticking the Epipen into her thigh.

"Ow" she mumbled

"Shh, it's okay sweetie. It's okay" I said smoothing her hair down.

I laid her down gently and sighed standing up.

"How did you know that she had that in her bag?" a doctor asked

"Her dad told me she's allergic to peanuts so she kept one in her traveling bag"

"Is he here?" I asked

"No, it was a woman that came in with her, but she left"

"Did anyone call her father?" I asked

"He's on his way."
